Vacation rentals with a kayak in North Troms

Oddgeir's house was a find and an asset to our Arctic vacation. We had a wonderful few days there with our 2 little children. Location: The remote location on the fjord is fantastic and very quiet. Obviously perfect for watching the Northern Lights, even if we were unfortunately unlucky because of the cloud cover. House: The house was very clean, the amenities optimal. Underfloor heating and fireplace - simply cozy. Communication: Couldn't have been better. 2 examples. 1) My husband and son traveled alone because my daughter was sick and we were only able to fly to Tromsø later. Oddgeir then offered us to stay one night longer at no extra cost. 2) When our car got stuck in the snow, he organized a tractor within 20 minutes that pulled us out. Oddgeir insisted that we feel at home - we did! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week at this house in Tromsö. Twice we were lucky to watch the northern lights from the roof terrace. It’s also only 2 min to the end of the road and the forrest where the aurora was even more beautiful to see. The view from the sofa down to Tromsö was amazing. The house had everything we could have wished for, even a sauna. Margrethe was a great host, offered lots of advice on local tours and welcomed us with little surprises on the table. I hope we can manage to come back one day.

Thomas was a wonderful host with his two cute dogs Tipp and Judo. It was great chatting to Thomas about the local history and sites - we got many tips. We were also made to feel at home which wasn’t difficult anyway as the decorations and atmosphere felt like us. The views were breathtaking too . 🙏🙏

What a fantastic time I had at this Airbnb. The location is nothing short of magical, a true winter wonderland. Private, silent and beautiful. Spending the nights standing in the snow illuminated by the waxing moon with stunning Aurora displays above all 4 nights. If you're looking to explore Senja this is the place to stay. Tommy is an incredibly kind person and it was a pleasure meeting and chatting with him. He shared my passion for nature and the Aurora and he puts a lot of care into your stay. This is a place to leave everything behind, get outside and get back to nature. A true arctic experience to be plowing snow from the driveway, collecting firewood and standing in the middle of snowstorms. I can't wait to visit again.

We spend 5 wonderful weeks at Linn’s cosy house in april-may :) We had the best time skitouring and enjoying the surrounding mountains. The house was just like it’s shown in the pictures, it has such a nice vibe and perfect views from the windows. Linn was very helpful and easy to reach when needed. Thank you! We’ll be back :)

The house is very big and spacious. The host is quick to respond. Recommended to stay. Divided into two floors, one floor is the living room, a huge living room And the surrounding scenery is superb, unfortunately, the clouds were heavy that day and we didn't see the aurora Otherwise, it would be more perfect!

We loved our stay at Svein's. As soon as we arrived, he came to welcome us and we felt right at home. The cottage is very warm (as in the photos), clean and contains everything you could need for a wonderful stay. Despite the proximity to the host's main house, we always felt that we had our privacy. We would highly recommend:)

To say amazing- is to say nothing. Stig's place is.... you just need to get there to see all with your eyes! Definitely- highly recommend for nature lovers and ones who wants a private place relax.

This place is unique. We spent a great week here and got tips from Dag before arrival - a very warm and helpful host. Everything was very clean and very cozy. The highlight in the house is the fire oven and panoramic windows; the property has its own water access and we were allowed to use the small fire hut. We were able to observe several aurora lights and moose. We really want to come back - thank you very much to Dag & family!

We loved our stay on Senja. The cabin’s location is beautiful and the hosts were very friendly, generous with their time and helpful with local advice.

Lovely cabin in a quiet environment with very nice view next ro Tromsø. The cabin is very authentic, and cosy. Christine's family is so nice, i highly recommand this cabin for peaceful holidays along the fjord.
