We're absolutely thrilled! The atmosphere is familiar, the host is totally friendly and always approachable. It is particularly noteworthy that the accommodation is very family-friendly or baby-friendly. The surroundings are very worth seeing and you can do a lot. The village is also very cute. We will be back

We had a good time in Bad Honnef. The property is as described and has a special charm. Werner was super nice.

An old castle that is elegantly renovated and furnished with tasteful furniture. Everything at its best. The kitchen also has everything a larger group needs for cooking. We, a group of 11 athletes, spent a very nice weekend here and can only recommend it.

We found 💫 the communication to be very pleasant, both were always easily accessible. My personal highlight: very great selection of different teas. All in all, highly recommended! 🙏😊

Our stay at Haus Bamenohl was very nice and relaxing! We enjoyed the park, explored the surroundings and even received a castle tour from Mortimer. Parking right next to the property is possible and shopping is easily accessible on foot. We will be happy to come back!

Our expectations for the reserved accommodation were completely met. There was good, friendly communication with the hosts from the beginning. We expected a clean and well-structured apartment, which was also very comfortably furnished. What we found very attentive and great were the preheated rooms and the possibility to use the fireplace. The bed, the view from the window into the garden and the back landscape were absolutely fantastic. In contrast, unfortunately, we did not like the area "in front of" the property/in front of the driveway at all. A main road with many discount stores and other shops, noise (which you did not notice in the apartment) in full operation. Although very practical, unfortunately not idyllic. We had the guest apartment with garden access and loved it! Bigger than the pictures. The kitchen is fully equipped. For 4 people, everything is available. The dog also got his own feeding station, really thought of everything:) highly recommended for dog owners and always worth a trip!

It is a beatiful place, the view from the room over the Rhine- valley was wonderful. The people were friendly and helpfull. It is very quiet. You can make a nice evening walk from the castle. Recommended!

Everything worked as expected, location is unique and staying in a castle by itself is a once in a lifetime experience.

Leonard and Katherine were very lovely hosts and the entire experience was unique and amazing. Staying in a 650 year old castle is pretty cool and the interior is very well preserved and full of interesting artefacts. Would definitely return for a stay here and would definitely recommend :)

We absolutely loved our stay at the castle! The room was stunning, beautifully authentic with charming brick walls that added so much character and atmosphere. The large windows offered a breathtaking view of the lake, which made the whole experience feel magical. Our host was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Their hospitality really made a difference. If you're into fishing, there's a great spot right next to the castle with big carps and catfish, so definitely bring your fishing gear! Highly recommended for a unique and relaxing getaway.
