Cabin vacation rentals in North Rhine-Westphalia

If you are looking for peace in nature and in the Eifel, upscale amenities, just want to feel at home... Then this is the place to be!! We had 4 unforgettable days together with our daughter and dog. The location is perfect for rest and very private. If you travel with dogs, you have to adjust to hiking up and down, typical of the Eifel, but that's what makes the Eifel and we were used to it anyway. Unfortunately, there is no garden for the dogs, but we knew that and it did not bother us, the walks were all the more beautiful! For this, the terrace behind the house was perfect for lounging, eating at the long table and very private. A highlight for young and old. The hot tub invites you to relax in the evenings for two, where you can relax and the sauna is very pleasant after a long walk. The couch and beds are very comfortable and the view is perfect! Cooking, grilling, stowing the ice cream... Everything is there :)! We will be back!

We had a wonderful time. The tranquility that the area offers was exactly what we were looking for. The house is clean and nicely decorated and offers the perfect little spa experience with sauna and hot tub. I'd love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and spacious home. The location is absolutely perfect – peaceful, scenic, and just a great place to relax. The house is well-equipped with everything you might need, which made our stay really comfortable. There are just a few small downsides worth mentioning: the Wi-Fi could be faster, there was no laundry detergent provided, and the kitchen knives could use some sharpening. Other than that, everything was great. We seriously enjoyed our time here and are definitely considering coming back again!

The place was amazing. The house is so lovingly furnished Everything you need in kitchen utensils and other everyday items was there. Especially for children, it is super nice, the children's room, the garden with the small playground, the swing in the middle of the living room (also for adults mega :-)), the quiet environment. Everything is green (we were there in May), animals everywhere, a playground nearby, excursion possibilities... We had a wonderful vacation!

The cottage is on the outskirts of the property and offers a lot of privacy. At the back, there is a beautiful veranda, with a wide view of beautiful nature. The cottage itself was also fine, with on the lower floor a 2 (single beds)person bedroom and and toilet, otherwise it has a good and complete kitchen, including oven, microwave and induction hob. On the upper floor there is also a bedroom and the shower. On the property there are various playground equipment for children and there is a swimming pond.

A great place, far from the digital world, especially suitable for the younger generation to appreciate consumption again and not to take for granted. Uwe is a great host and the introduction could not be done better ❤️

I really enjoyed my break for five days as I spent it in a cozy single cabin on the edge of the wall that is very quiet and well located for hikes. I also liked that the cabin is clean and well furnished. Above all, the host Maja is extremely friendly; even though I never saw her, I felt that she was happy when I was well in her cabin!

We (Mom, Dad and daughters 10 & 3) stayed here for a long weekend. We had a great stay! The cabin was cozy and clean, in a beautiful and quiet location. Franziska was very hospitable. Overall we had a lovely stay!

We spent 2 nights in Eva's enchanting cottage and enjoyed the nature and tranquility, so close to the city and easy to reach and so wonderfully quiet. Communication with Eva was super uncomplicated and pleasant, we felt very welcome. The kitchen is well equipped, the oven warms and I chopped wood for the first time. The hut is surrounded by horses, chickens and sheep and lots of birdsong. Wonderful! We will be happy to come back.

Marcus is a very nice, open-minded person who not only lovingly deals with his animals but also is very popular with the neighboring children XD When we arrived, it didn't take long for many children to jump around the animals:) We felt very welcome and would go there again and again. Stops and center are further away, but the path is nice along the water :) (about 25 min) If you need a lot of space and luxury, Marcus may be a little wrong, but everyone else will surely enjoy this accommodation as much as we do :)

From the excellent communication with the hostess to the quality and amenities of the accommodation, in addition to the quiet and green surroundings, etc. a great destination to rest, relax and come to yourself. Very nice.

We were welcomed with fresh bread and eggs. A bottle of wine rounded it off. We had set out to relax for 3 days and unwind. This was absolutely successful. We didn't lack anything. The Waldseepfad Rieden is highly recommended for an extended hike. The hallway to the in-house sauna is a must-see. All in all, a wonderful weekend

As a family of four, we enjoyed our stay (four nights) in this cozy vacation home very much and had a wonderful break there. We found the house in a very clean condition. Everything we needed was there. Also toys for the kids, who were also able to romp around in the garden. The location at Niedersfeld was a very good starting point for us for various excursions (Hillebachsee, Golden Path, Gorge and Bridge Path, Sauerland Visitor Mine). If we spend another short vacation in the area, then we would be very happy to return to this house.

The accommodation is super located in the middle of nature. Perfect for excursions. We didn't miss anything in the amenities, especially with a toddler. It's also not far to the village itself.

We love it at the Oberprether Mühle and have recovered so well as always. The cottage is very lovingly and tastefully decorated and you have everything you need. The hosts are the nicest hosts you could ask for.

Staying with Konni (Iceland) was fantastic. The property offers a lot to discover - the love is in the details. There are a lot of animals on the property, which was the absolute highlight for me. I will definitely be back again sometime!

Our stay in the log cabin "Fledermaus" fully met our expectations. The quiet location, the charming furnishings and the walking distance to excursion destinations as well as supply options have made our getaway an all-around great experience. Absolutely recommended for a holiday in the Eifel!

Fine and well-equipped cottage, nice and close to the lake. Bakery at 15-20 min walking distance, supermarkets 10-20 min by car. We were there with our baby and toddler, and had a wonderful time there! For other parents of young children, it's worth noting: - there is a good camping bed, but bring your own mattress + fitted sheet. The "master bedroom" has little space around the bed, so if you want to sleep in one room with your baby is improvising - the lake is nice and cooling. However, it is deep directly from the deck, so definitely bring swimming pools. The lake does not have a beach or bank where you can play at the waterfront - there is a nice playground across the lake where you can walk in a few minutes, and the village of Rieden nearby also has a small playground - we found in one of the cupboards a nice flyer with nice walks suitable for children (Traumpfädchen), recommended!
