We loved our stay! The house was very clean and we felt right at home. Other than the amazing views, the neighborhood was very peaceful. We loved Pebbles Beach, just a short drive from the house. We would definitely stay here again.

I’ve been to the islands around 10 times. This was the most unique experience vs the typical resort. Peaceful and relaxing, but not far from the beach or city. I will definitely be returning.

Private Pool - 180° Ocean View - Minutes to Beach

MelanieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful 7 day stay. Our 3 boys (16, 13, and 10) spent hours on the diving board and in the pool. Sandra’s place had everything we needed for beach trips, including beach chairs, wagon, umbrella, cooler and beach towels. I was so happy to have a washing machine to wash out the sandy towels and suits after our beach trips. It was a 5-10 minute trip for Costco,-target and Walmart and a 30-40 minute trip to Hāpuna Beach (don’t miss the Malsada stand on the highway on your way). We would come back to the house to cook supper, swim more in the pool, and watch the sunset from the beautiful yard. We also got a lot of use out of the basketball net in the driveway, and volleyball net in the side yard. Sandra was extremely helpful with all aspects of our stay, including local recommendations. Would definitely stay again if on the Big Island!

Modern Upcountry Home with Mauna Kea Views

Wonderful place for our several days there. Fantastic view and very spacious. Several restaurants were in town. Waimea had few tourists but still was close to several small out-of-the-way towns we otherwise would not have thought of to visit.

Hale Aka'ula, house of the red sunset

AmyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This is a beautiful home up in the hills, absolutely gorgeous. It was very relaxing to have coffee on the lanai every morning. It’s also close to stores and activities, and yet is a lovely comfortable respite in the trees from the day’s adventures. Beds are comfy, and it feels like a home away from home. Also, the neighborhood roads are very pretty for walking!

Magic Sands Beach Bungalow

EricRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a great stay at Megan and Vincent’s place. Perfect four our family of four with two adult children. The art inside is beautiful and really adds to the vibe of the home. But more importantly the surrounding landscaping is stunning with fruit trees, palms and tropical plants surrounding the home. Just a great place to hang out and relax. The beach equipment was great and so helpful. AC was also key when it got hot later in the days. Perfect spot to explore Hawaii’s west coast. Can easily walk to a fun and funky beach with boogie boarding and beach volleyball and a restaurant right on the water. Easy drive to downtown Kona and all its offerings - yet away from the crowds and traffic. Would definitely stay again!

MeganRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Thomas’s house was great! It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed, and we loved having access to the washer and dryer. It fit our family of 5 comfortably, and we appreciated the air conditioning, snorkel gear, and boogie board. There was great snorkeling nearby, and we loved walking across the street to drink our coffee by the ocean every morning! I would definitely stay here again!

Private Oasis with FIVE STAR Service and Amenities

AgnesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Wow and wow! Joyce and Zac have gone above and beyond to create a space that is comfortable and private. While the accommodations are indeed attached to their home, the retreat presents like a private apartment. The kitchen is well-stocked, making it easy to cook in for meals, if desired. Nothing has been forgotten concerning the little touches that make traveling easier, so we would consider this rental much better than a hotel. There is no air-conditioning, but numerous fans are provided and we were comfortable during our June stay. The online pictures very accurately depict what you'll see when you arrive. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We whole-heartedly recommend this rental and plan to return on our next trip to Kona.

One Bedrm near Kona & Magic Sands Beach-G

GayleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great stay. I usually have a hard time sleeping places that aren’t my bed. I have to say I slept great every night as did my husband. You can hear the neighbors but it didn’t bother us. Everyone was quiet and the only thing that woke us up occasionally were the dogs in the house next door. 😀. While it was a little difficult to find in the dark and the rain, once we located the property we easily found it every day. The beach chairs, ice packs and beach bag were appreciated as we spent the day at the beach. Oh! And sunscreen and aloe when the sunscreen didn’t work. It was a wonderful stay and we will stay there again when we return!!Thanks again!

Relaxing Tropical Retreat close to Kailua Kona

JonghyunRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at Adam’s peaceful home near Kona. The property is quiet, beautifully maintained, and just a 7-minute drive to town — the perfect mix of nature and convenience. The space was spotless and fully stocked with everything we needed. We especially appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and the relaxing hot tub. Honestly, the hot tub was even more soothing than an onsen we’ve experienced in Japan — especially with the surrounding sounds of birds and rustling trees. The full kitchen made it easy to cook, and we loved having dinners outside under the stars. The deck and garden felt like a private retreat — calm, lush, and peaceful. Nature’s sounds at night were magical. Adam was an amazing host — warm, responsive, and thoughtful. And his sweet dog and cat made us smile every time we saw them — they added a lovely, homely touch. We highly recommend this place to couples looking for a quiet, cozy escape on the Big Island. We’d love to return. Mahalo!

Ali'i Dr w/ Ocean Sunsets next to Farmer's Market

RachelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The condo was perfect for our family of four with two older teens. The third bed is a fold down couch. My kids took turns sleeping on it and both said it was pretty comfortable considering it was a fold down couch. The kitchen was well supplied and all the extra towels were very much appreciated. The pool is salt water, not chlorine. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends/family and stay there again. BTW hosts were amazing! Very prompt replies and very easy to work with.

Ocean Front Corner Condo in Paradise

KenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Amy's place was just the perfect condo for us. It had a great unobstructed view the ocean. and the sounds of the ocean along with the evening breeze wafting through the unit at night was heavenly. Having breakfast on the lanai was a treat each morning of our stay. Very private end unit on the second floor assured privacy with no one being able to look in or walk by. Quiet and away from the bustle of the tourist district. (except for one noisy Coqui frog in the bushes nearby). I chased it away enough to get it to stop for the evenings. A nearby market and Ali'i Gardens Marketplace with cool friendly people (plus great fish tacos!) is just a short walk away. Amy was attentive and provided good tips for our visit which was a great help. Will definitely visit again!

There could not be a better spot to land! Dorothy‘s place is so close to the airport, so centrally located to town, yet somehow you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle! The path leading to the main strip of town is so peaceful. The vibe at the pool and the hot tub was always respectful and sweet. As a solo traveler, I found this spot to feel very safe and accessible. I loved it here.

Condo w/private lanai & a peek-a-view of the pool!

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect for walking around the city, close to shops and restaurants. We appreciated the on-site parking. We didn't end up using any of the amenities like the pool, but they were nice to have available. The building is a little outdated but in a charming way. The space is homey and nicely decorated, and the balcony was a great inclusion. Comfy beds, a decent amount of space, and nice large fridge. The space was pretty clean and the shower was recently remodeled. Plenty of extra towels which was great. This is a good deal for the price and location, and we would stay again. Thank you to Kitty for the pleasant stay and for being so responsive.
