The quiet neighborhood with birds singing, waves lapping on the shore, and the breezes coming through the screened deck doors make sleeping in that oh so comfortable bed an overnight vacation. You will certainly get your rest! If you come from the North, make sure to stop in for a take out supper at Off-The-Hook Seafood place at the Dunkirk Pier before the last 5 miles to Wisteria Cottage.

Kelly's cottage was perfect for me and my boys to get away! The stream behind the house was lovely and just a short paddle to Chautauqua Lake. My kids loved the hot tub! The cottage was fully stocked with dishes to cook with and coffee and snacks (my boys loved the mini popcorn!), as well as, plenty of fresh linens and towels. We had such a great time and are looking forward to making this a yearly tradition already!

Overall, Amanda’s place was adorable and a great getaway for a long weekend! Amanda is very responsive and kind. We had a few hiccups with the house (technical things) and she was very responsive and willing to help as much as she could despite not being in the area. It is a tight space for more than 6 people. There were 7 total in our group so keep in mind it only having one shower and some close sleeping quarters. The beds were very comfy and clean though. It was still cool with the AC window units on too (if staying in the summer). All in all would stay again!

The home is so beautiful, I took pictures because I really want to build a home and it’s what I’m going to base it off of!!! Kathlene was so helpful. Anything we needed she was right on it.!! we will plan on coming again in the future! You will not be disappointed in this location or the home itself!!

We enjoyed our stay and found the process very easy from check in to checkout. Alissa and Jeff answered all questions quickly. Loved our time in the area and found this to be a perfect place for this area.

we had a wonderful time, the place was amazing, so roomie and comfortably, so much to offer at the house, then a couple minute walk to the beach, the littles had a blast, can't wait to go again

We were looking for a retreat for Memorial Day that would keep our toddler busy but offer a peaceful setting, free of crowns for our newborn and Erica’s place fit the bill exactly! The property looked even better in real life than in the photos. The place was stocked with amenities. Every time we said “I forgot XYZ” it was available in the house including: bug spray, firewood, marshmallow sticks, coffee thermos, wine, and more! I’ve never stayed at a place that had so much available. The spring water provided in the dispenser was very helpful, especially with little ones. Our toddler enjoyed looking for salamanders and frogs, splashing in the creek, roasting marshmallows, and bird watching. Cracking the bedroom windows provided the perfect white noise from the creek. There were plenty of places to sit outside and enjoy coffee while soaking in all the nature. We also enjoyed the Amish trail, Ellicottville Brewing, and pastries from Early Bird Ranch. A perfect family staycation!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect—close to the water. We especially enjoyed our morning walks around the area and looking at all the homes and our dog especially loved running on the small beach area. Beach is Dog friendly till 10am and after 5pm. Every detail was taken care of, making our stay truly memorable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway! Would definitely stay here again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Ps… thank you for the beach chairs!!!

The Cove was a wonderful cottage within walking distance of the lake. The house had lots of nice antiques to make you feel right at home. The neighborhood is quiet and the house is a short walk from the lake. I’d stay here again if in the area.

We had such a great time staying here! The walk to the cliffs was super muddy, but we still made the best of it. It was shocking to see the sheer drop of the cliffside. We weren’t expecting that! It was a beautiful view at sunset. We were very comfortable during our stay, and hope to come again for even longer!

WOW! That’s what we said when we opened the front door. The view of the lake was awesome and Barbara’s house was perfect for the 4 of us celebrating our 70th birthdays. We have stayed in many Airbnb’s before but this house had every amenity you could ask for. It is tastefully decorated and well stocked including paper products, shampoos, spices, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the morning sunrise from the master bedroom was absolutely breathtaking! We visited the National Comedy Museum in Jamestown and walked the beautiful grounds of the Chautauqua Institute ! Barbara was the perfect hostess and even offered to mail the clothes we left in the dryer back to us. As one ages, we tend to remember the “moments” and forget the “things”🥴. Thank you, Barbara, for transforming your shack into a spectacular cottage and sharing it with us.

Angie's place was a last minute booking after a host on another site cancelled our original booking the morning of our check-in and we were very grateful to find Angie's place. Angie was accommodating and responsive, the property was clean, instructions for every aspect of the property were clear and available in a binder for reference when we got there, and overall we had a great time. Angie also proactively reached out to offer a later check-out time which we very much appreciated as it gave us more time to enjoy the area and have a calmer check-out. The cost for Angie's place was higher than our original booking but that was an understood consequence of booking last minute. We would very much recommend Angie's place and hope to stay there again in the future!

Loved staying at Penelope’s place. This is our 3rd or 4th time renting from her. She is a great host.

Hats off to Clinton for his lovely place. We were 3 couples for a weekend getaway and the place was perfect. We especially enjoyed the backyard fire-pit and well-equipped kitchen. Beds were super comfortable. And the location was perfect for long walks on the beach. Loved walking an eagle nearby caring for her young ones. Well worthwhile!

Had a great stay here. Clean, comfortable, and quiet. Close enough to town but far enough away to feel private. Would stay here again.

What a great little place, we packed in right on our boat! The canal was so convenient for accessing the main lake and such a peaceful retreat at night! We spent the evenings listening to the bull frogs from the deck overlooking the canal. The house was perfect and the loft was adorable!

This was a fabulous choice for a weekend wine getaway with girlfriends! The description of the place was spot on! I have been coming to the area for 15 years and always wanted to stay at this place because it looks so unique from the outside. It did not disappoint, and the hostess was spectacular in term of communication. We will be back!

A group of six college pals stayed at Tina’s place for a long weekend. The location is ideal and we spent as much time as possible outside. The house has everything you need. We walked to a nearby restaurant/bar and had a bonfire in the beach. The neighborhood is very walkable. It’s a half hour or so to Buffalo and is totally worth the drive.

My inlaws and I had a great 3 night stay at this location! We visited the local wineries and Niagara falls! Perfect location, and a beautiful outdoor area and plenty of room for us 4. We got to see hummingbirds from the deck too!

The stay at David's cottage was perfect! our focus was fishing, so we did not spend a lot of time at the cottage besides sleeping and meals. David was helpful in getting us parked, supplying amenities for our boats and getting us situated. Overall, very satisfied with our experience and would absolutely stay again!

This place was just what I needed for a quiet weekend away. Very private and peaceful, but close to enough to Frewsburg and Jamestown if I needed to get anything. Amber was very friendly and helpful and answered all the questions I had very quickly! And I loved the backyard with the fire pit and chairs, but sadly didn’t get to use it because of the rain. I hope to return when the weather is nicer for another weekend getaway!

This is a lovely little cottage for 2 people, but can sleep more with the sleeper couch and the attic loft. Love it! This was our second stay.
