The House of the Turks

The Casa dei Turchi overlooks the Leno stream with the castle of Rovereto. It was built in the 1600s during the Venetian domination period to host Turkish nobles. Hence the name that preserves its suggestive facade and the pierced wooden veranda from which you can admire the waterfalls (with its sounds) and the castle towers from a privileged location. It is in the heart of the historic center on the bike path (100 meters) and 200 meters from the parking. It has all the comforts and an elevator.

I stayed with friends in this B&B which is very conveniently located within walking distance of the station and is a 3-minute walk to the Mart. The apartment is recently renovated, tastefully furnished, very clean. We ate in the owner's tavern: a welcoming and personality-filled place. The dishes were truly remarkable, attention to detail and search for the product of excellence. Very good wine cellar: of note is a great passion and careful and meticulous work on the selection of the wine cellars. Behind these two activities lies the professionalism and competence of the owner. We will definitely be back because we were greeted with kindness and helpfulness and the experience of both the tasting and the overnight stay were excellent.

Lovely, peaceful spot with lots of space and beautiful mountain and vineyard views. Easy access to main road for day trips. Worked well to have separate sleeping units and shared kitchen and hangout space. The host was so friendly, flexible and responsive. Came over in 15 minutes to help with a question. Would recommend.

Beautiful and very spacious apartment, with everything you need to feel at home. Although, the apartment is not in the city center, you can walk to the bus station and downtown (in a 15-minute walk). Sabrina, very kind and a very nice person. We'll definitely be back in Rovereto's at Sabrina's!
