Heron House is a truly beautiful cottage with thoughtful decor that makes you feel instantly at home. From the moment you arrive to every peaceful morning you wake up, the warm colors, cozy furniture, and stunning views create the perfect atmosphere for relaxation. Unlike a hotel that’s just a place to drop your suitcase, this cottage was clearly designed to be lived in and enjoyed. It invites you to settle in, unwind, and connect with nature and loved ones. The layout is ideal for all ages, with a convenient master bedroom on the ground floor, and three additional bedrooms upstairs. There’s plenty to do and for everyone to enjoy: from friendly games of ping pong or ladder toss, to relaxing moments in the hot tub Highly recommended for families, or groups of friends looking for a comfortable and memorable escape in Muskoka.

Stephen and Bob were absolutely amazing very accommodating. We hosted our wedding in their beautiful space and it was everything we could’ve imagined and then some. They provided so much from snacks to extra toiletries. And their communication was amazing from the moment we booked about five months ago. We would be so lucky to go back and we plan to go back many times in the future.

We had a good stay at Marcin's place, couldn't take advantage of all that was available (Spa, Sauna, Kayaks, Firepit etc) but we where there to Ride the area and have a good spot to relax after a day of Motorcycling. All my buddies where satisfied. Only thing was the garbage disposal procedure that we couldn't do since we where on Motorcycles, but after connecting with Marcin we where able to let it cleanly outside for the cleaning crew. Would go back if ever in the region again.

We stayed at this cottage over the long weekend and had an amazing time. The place was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a highlight—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The backyard was spacious and peaceful, ideal for lounging or enjoying a BBQ. The owners were incredibly helpful, respectful, and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful cottage and also nice outdoor decoration and nice walk to river with gorgeous lights! We celebrate birthday with family so plenty space for 10 people, 2 kids and 2 infants! Also just mention there’s noise detector which host didn’t mention on description, inside you can be pretty loud only outside have to respect live neighborhood but it wasn’t issue for us to celebrate birthday! Was flexible check-out from Bethany which helps us! Airbnb host is very responsive which is nice, there were a couple messages I had to follow-up on.

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at Priolo on the Bay – Moody Escape, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Andy is a truly exceptional host. Every detail was thoughtfully curated to create a luxurious yet cozy escape. The cottage itself is immaculate – modern, stylish, and unbelievably comfortable. It strikes the perfect balance between high-end living and rustic charm. Tucked away in the heart of nature, it still offers every convenience imaginable: from fully stocked cutlery and snacks to campfire treats, firewood for both the sauna and outdoor firepit, a gas oven, extra lighters—you name it, it was there.The interiors are spotless and beautifully designed, making the entire space feel like a warm, peaceful retreat. Sitting by the fire, unwinding in the sauna, or just enjoying the serene forest surroundings—it all felt like a dream.This is the kind of place that makes you not want to leave!

Wonderful private getaway. Beautiful upgraded cottage, with all amenities that you could need. Gorgeous view of lake. We felt welcome and comfortable. Beautiful sunsets in the hot tub and dips in the lake.

We just got back from a lovely stay at the cottage on Spectacle Lake, and even though the weather wasn’t on our side, we truly had a great time. The rain kept us mostly indoors, but the cozy fireplace turned out to be a blessing we spent our time just relaxing, listening to the rain, and soaking in the peaceful vibe. The cottage itself is tucked away in such a private, serene spot. Waking up to the sound of birds and looking out over the calm water from every window was incredibly calming. Everything was so clean and well cared for. Waking up to birdsong and calm water views from every window was such a treat. I was thrilled to finally spot a few beaver lodges in the Madawaska Valley — a small dream come true! The cottage was clean, the docks looked great, and having fresh drinking water available was such a thoughtful and sustainable touch. We didn’t get the clear skies we hoped for to stargaze, but that just gives us a reason to come back and we definitely will.

love the peace and quiet, being unplugged, there was great fishing close by. cottage was fully stocked with everything needed and then some.

Bill's place is absolutely amazing! We get access to a good hiking trail, the lake that we have plenty activities to do! The description is accurate; Bill and Lisa are super responsive to our messages. Overall it is such an amazing experience and highly recommend Bill's place! :)

We just returned from our stay and had a wonderful time. Amanda was very quick to respond to any questions and they’ve clearly put a lot of thought into their cottage. We had some rainy and cold days but loved the extensive movie collection and extra blankets. We loved the sunrise views from our room and slept well. The lake is beautiful (shallow at the dock) and we enjoyed paddleboarding around the lake and relaxing on the dock. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a large assortment of water toys, life jackets, and floaties. We were really happy with the kitchen supplies and found everything we needed to cook our meals throughout the week. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Everything about our stay at Rocky Shore Drive was spectacular. This place is roomy with all the comforts of home. Quality furniture is found throughout the place . The home is grand , bright with all its windows , comfy and clean. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Lots of extra linens and blankets are also available. Kitchen is fully stocked with drip coffee, a bodum, electric kettle , a microwave , dishwasher and a toaster oven. You will also find two large fridges with ice makers and water dispenser and two Jen-air stoves . Main living room has a super comfy sectional , big screen tv and a fireplace . **look for Woody in the main living room :) Upstairs ; a computer work station , a couple recliners and two bedrooms along with a washroom . Both washrooms were stocked with fresh towels and basic shower supplies; Shampoo n body soap . The basement ; a pool table , rummoli game , a drinking game , lots of books and puzzles to be found as well. Five stars all around ?

Janet's place is a little piece of heaven! Her place was immaculate and comfortable with lots of space indoors and out. We brought out 2 very small dogs and the fully fenced in yard was their big piece of heaven allowing them to run free and we didn't have to worry about them getting loose. The wi-fi worked perfectly and I loved how her system was set up to automatically sign us out from our apps (Netflix, Crave, Paramount , etc) on the morning of our departure so we didn't have to worry about that when leaving. The kitchen was fully stocked with extra touches like coffee, tea, snacks, spices and more. We cooked pretty much every meal and there was nothing lacking as we were cooking. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. Janet's instructions to find the place were spot on so follow her instructions and not your GPS! We truly enjoyed our time at Janet's place and hope to return again in 2025.

This place is great. It has a beautiful view of lake. The water is shallow and perfect for kids. And Prisca's communication was amazing. Highly recommend.

We had a great, cozy weekend at the cottage. The lake view is very calming and a great feature of the property! Thanks to the fireplace and the games available in the house, we had a fun time even when the weather wasn't ideal. Vanessa was a lovely host and was very responsive to all our questions and needs.

Would recommend to anyone traveling to the area. Beautiful location. Easy river access for fishing, canoeing, and other water activities. Well suited for families with a game room and lots of books for kids. Our family loved the wildlife sightings (blue jays, hummingbirds, chipmunks, and fish every day).

We had a great little fall getaway weekend and the cottage was perfect. It was just the 2 of us plus our 2 little dogs, which made for a very quiet, peaceful and relaxing escape. The sun rise and sunset over the lake is picturesque! The cottage had all the amenities we needed to cook our meals and just relax. Kim was wonderful to correspond with and was able to offer us an early check in and checkout to make the most of our weekend. Would definitely recommend a visit to this wonderful cottage on Pickerel Lake!

Amazing place to stay with friends or family.

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

If you are looking for a beautiful, tranquil setting this is your place. The home was as described, clean and very well stocked. The outdoor area, fire pit and location are one of a kind. In October the fall colours were beautiful, would highly recommend James’ place for a peaceful getaway.

Fantastic place to stay. Don’t worry about the cold nights in the winter as the wood stove will make the cottage toasty warm with lots of hard wood in the shed. Large parking area for trucks and trailers. Place is newly renovated inside and out. Quite location in the winter. Will be going back for sure !

It's a very nice space - cozy, clean and right on the water, looks like it's been well cared for and well lived in. Not that fancy - you can relax in the non-pretentious, just a good cottage feels. There is room for many more than we had with us - the kitchen is well equipped and it was relaxing and peaceful. A cute fire pit, a beach and a dock to explore Buck Lake. The large bed is comfy, there are blankets everywhere, so when it's chilly - you're only steps away from warmth. The fireplace was nice at warming the place, but also you felt a great sense of ease as you looked out to the lake from many of the vantage points... overall it was very restful and relaxing. I would recommend this place to families and couples alike.
