Absolutely beautiful location for a relaxing getaway. Quiet and serene sandy beach. Kayaks available as described and we thoroughly enjoyed taking in the views from the lake. Great place to take the opportunity to try out the SUP in the shallows of their sandy beach. Bev and Louise were welcoming and readily available to answer any questions. We truly appreciate our hosts for sharing their home to provide such a wonderful experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandra's place! If you're ever traveling through the sandridge area, highly recommend a stop over here. It's right on the water water and just behind a wonderful park for any kids or pets you may be bringing along with you.

We stayed at April’s Airbnb for a long weekend and absolutely loved it! April was incredibly helpful and understanding, especially when I needed some flexibility with scheduling. The space was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect—just 10 minutes from downtown Huntsville. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area!

I stayed here for just under 2 months and I had a lovely time. It's right next to a fabulous bookstore and right in the thick of downtown and near the water. Parking was easy, as was check in/out and communicating with Heba. I had a really comfortable stay. Heba is wonderful and so friendly, I loved meeting her!

This is our second stay at Mandy’s. Extremely comfortable bed and clean. No noise. Stocked kitchen. Quiet neighborhood. Mandy’s is very quick to respond.

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

Divine and beautiful surroundings, nestled amongst a large garden and trees with a distant view of the nearby lake, this Air BnB was a pure heaven for our one night stopover. Roberta was very communicative and provided detailed instructions the week before we arrived. The cabin was warm and spotless and included all amenities we needed (note there is no dishwasher). The only downside for us was the ventilation noise that came from outside and could be heard at regular intervals throughout the night. Bedding and linen ultra comfortable, plenty of sundries such as tea, coffee, sugar and sauces available to guests which is a bonus. We had a lovely stay with our 3 children and will treasure this special place forever in our hearts!

This is a beautiful cottage overlooking a lake. It is well maintained, very clean and equipped with more than you would need on a holiday. Sandor was excellent with his communication, gave us all the information we needed and checked on us whilst we were there. We really enjoyed our stay and fully recommend the place.

If you’re looking for a home from home stay then I highly recommend Al’s air bnb. We were 4 adults and the holiday home had everything we needed. It was a walk away from the Main Street in Huntsville and a great location to take the drive into Algonquin park and surrounding towns. The home was clean, modern and had a well equipped kitchen. Very serene, private location with a fabulous deck to immerse yourself in nature. The leaves were very colorful, and we saw a family of 4 deer in the front yard! What an experience! The cottage is a beautifully restored farm house with updated conveniences as well as some personalized rustic touches, for example the sink in the bathroom is magnificent, and the dining table is huge and hand crafted so food could be served at one end and our pre schooler could work on puzzles at the other end. We enjoyed several campfires where our grandson roasted marshmallows for the first time. The cottage was well decorated and furnished, and very comfortable, especially for a multi generation family; it was even equipped with "fairy lights" in an upstairs bedroom. We had such a great time enjoying new adventures every day. Thank you Victoria for sharing your lovely rural property. We definitely plan on returning next year. What a perfect 3-day getaway! My friends and I loved our time at this cottage by the lake. It was so relaxing and exactly what we needed. The cottage was great, and the lake access was a huge bonus. We had an amazing time and would definitely return.

We had an amazing stay at Paul's place! The waterfront location by the beach was ideal for our summer family vacation. The rooms were beautifully decorated, offering both comfort and style. This condo was simply wonderful! Highly recommend! The location was fabulous, the condo was perfect!

Peter was very quick with his responses and took the time to look up what was near the air bnb. The location was amazing since it was right beside a ski resort and 20 minutes away was the most beautiful skating trail in the forest. The air bnb itself was very nice. We cooked dinner and it had everything we needed and seasoning as well. The only thing would be the TV which we didn’t bring a laptop to connect to, which Peter did communicate to us we needed. It was a very great stay and Peter was ever helpful and kind ! Will come back in the summer for the lake.

I wish we could give 10 stars! Everything from the booking, to the information received beforehand, to communication while we were there, was fantastic. The amenities helped us wind down after a family wedding and celebrate our daughter's birthday! Jesse was very flexible for meeting our family's need and hopes while we were in Huntsville. We had a great time and hopefully will be back soon! PS playing pacman and making espressos were definitely highlights!!!

We recently stayed at Phil’s place and although short, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Kitchen is very well equipt, beds are comfortable, it was clean, quiet and the views looking over the water were amazing. Be mindful that there are two sets of full stairs to get from the bedrooms to the kitchen but would we go there again, absolutely.

It was such a great experience staying at this place. Maja and Neno are great hosts - the instructions are clear and it’s easy to find the suite even when it’s dark. They also share local recommendations (there is puppy yoga!) :) the place is an amazing getaway from the busy and noisy city life. In clear days you can see so many stars in the sky from the porch. It’s also so close to Algonquin so I can totally imagine it being super busy during maple leaf seasons. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this area. Excellent stay at Jocelyn and Scott's. Was a great location for a ski weekend. Communication was great. Jocelyn and Scott were very accommodating when we asked to extend our stay.
