The place was a beautiful cottage, very well decorated and extremely clean! The place had everything you could ever need and Ryan and Bryan were extremely quick to respond and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again!

Paula made our stay amazing again! The fire was going and the place was toasty warm. We were lucky enough to be there while the goats were having their babies and Paula let all 5 kids stay out with her for hours. We all had an amazing peaceful weekend. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home fits larger families with 4 bedrooms and two washrooms. Conveniently located close to the river and short walk to shops and restaurants. Host was friendly and responded very quickly to any messages sent.

The house was very clean, bright and cozy with all the amenities necessary for a great stay. Short distance to all the stores and restaurants, as well as two Provincial Parks. Would highly recommend this place to those visiting/exploring Huntsville.

Joan's place was a great place for us to unwind after the hectic day of our daughter's Nipissing Graduation. We stayed 2 nights in early June, the view of the lake was incredible and sitting on the patio listening to the waves lapping at the shore was just what the doctor ordered. The only problem we had was the fridge wasn't working, Joan had a bar fridge in before we even got there and it was lots big enough for us. Joan was super apologetic and even offered room in her fridge upstairs if we needed it. A trip out to The Trading post is always recommended if you like ice cream, cones are massive! We would definitely stay here again, Joan was fantastic to deal with!

The place was clean, cozy, and it was exactly like the photos. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook. The check-in and check-out and garbage disposal process was very clear and detailed, as the host provided an easy to follow instruction. We'll definitely come back!

Great stay. Clean space, looks just like the photos. Peaceful and easy. Had a crib and high chair for our little one. Hot tub was great. BBQ we didn’t use but was available. TV and internet worked. Responsive host. Cut grass. Little parkette for our son within a short walking distance. Thank you Ronald and Irene.

We had a wonderful stay! Cottage was clean upon arrival with easy access. There were lots of activities to keep busy both indoor and outdoors. Lots of space to enjoy within the cottage as well. We especially enjoyed the hot tub during a cooler day!

Was a great spot to stay and close to everything very easy to get a hold of and check in check out was seem-less they were even going to let me go back to see if I forgot something and it was very clean . only few downfalls the bbq was very dirty and didn’t work well we ended up having to switch are food to inside , it’s for sale so a lot of stuff from the stagers in the house which made us nervous to touch anything , no heat in the basement and it was a chilly weekend and they are extremely strict on the recycling to the point there is a sign saying the first thing the cleaning lady does is go through the garage and if one things isn’t in the right place you will be fined , with kids accidents happen and they may put garbage in the wrong bin so we ended up taking all are garbage home to save save the stress

Property and home are extremely beautiful, we had great weather and spent most the weekend outside. Definitely considering booking this cottage again in the future. Thanks for the stay

We loved our stay at Mark and Betty's chalet. The place was quiet and clean. There was plenty of space for our two families, a beautiful deck space for enjoying a morning coffee, an indoor pool for the kids to use at the nearby resort (at a reasonable cost and only a 5 minute walk from the chalet) and plenty of hiking trails nearby. The hosts were responsive and offered helpful suggestions for things to do in the area. We especially enjoyed Mark and Betty's art collection, the many klompen (for the Dutch in us!) and the giant pileated woodpecker that would visit the birdfeed in the morning.

Bowhey’s is such a special place. All the amenities, clean cabins, staff is always busy working on something to make it even more beautiful. Ian is so great and laid back. Saturday night karaoke should not be missed! We will definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay. Beds were extremely comfortable and the location was peaceful and private. The pool had a lot of dirt and rocks in it but the kids still enjoyed it. There was apparently a heater but it wasn’t on or wasn’t working because the pool was absolutely freezing but again the kids didn’t mind it. Couches were very comfy, although could have used more seating in the TV room. Hot tub was perfect. There was an issue with it before we arrived but the host had it fixed before we arrived and we just had to wait until the next day for it to be ready to use. The home was very clean but a few things were broken or run down. None of that impacted the quality of the stay though - we still had a great time. The location was private. The lake/dock is across the road but it’s a small and not busy road. My 5 year old had an absolute blast on the trampoline and in the playroom. Thanks for the great stay!

I absolutely loved my stay here! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host was incredibly accommodating and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It truly felt like a home away from home. I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend!

We were looking for a nice place with indoor pool for our kids, this place was exactly what we were hoping for! The house is very nice, has a few stores nearby to buy anything you might forgot back home. We will definitely come back again!

Todd was an amazing host, very responsive and even got on a call to help us when i had a clarification and stayed on until it was The Cottage is amazing and filled with amenities that we would probably need a whole day to properly enjoy. The spot, the cottage is located and the rear view from the cottage, rooms, or even from the decks are stunning. Such a peaceful environment for proper retreat. It was a proper disconnect since some carriers didn't even have mobile reception sometimes in the cottage. Everything was setup and easy to find, especially the paddle boats, life jackets, and even the battery for the electrically operated boat was visibly placed. The fireplaces were setup so it was pretty easy to enjoy than spending time on setting up anything. The basement is more suitable for pet friendly guests compared to the rest of the cottage. Really loved the cozy vibe and stay. Would definitely look forward to be there again.

Our family really enjoyed our time at this beautiful cabin! Check in was quick and easy and Jadey was extremely responsive to messages. Communication was great from arrival to departure. While we did not have access to the wifi, these things happen and we understood. A storm that blew in the day prior caused some issues which didn’t affect our enjoyment and it was a good opportunity to “unplug”. Included availability of the Kayaks, canoes, and water bike was a great way to explore. Excellent location for young families looking to spend relaxing days on the clear and shallow beach with the kids. We also took advantage of the basketball net and tennis court on the cooler days. Overall we had a great stay at Sunset Cove and have no doubt we will return again in the future! Thank you Jadey and Jack.

Very private retreat with beautiful views, right on the water with new dock, kayak and canoes. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and well appointed. Linda is a great host and always ready to respond. Will gladly come back!

not a single issue, host was available for questions, great space , great value and beautiful redone firepit with firewood. lots of chipmunks and ducks. the master bedroom felt like sleeping next to the water with amazing glider rocker Adirondack chairs right out the patio doors for morning coffee.

The home was exactly as advertised in the pictures. Beautifully decorated and picturesque. The views of the lake are stunning. The area was peaceful yet a close drive into town. The home had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. Wonderful hosts with great communication. Looking forward to renting again, we will definitely be back soon!

Reggie’s place was perfect for our needs - two couples. We each had our own “quarters” with our own bedrooms and bathrooms on each floor. A lot of amazing workmanship has gone into Reggie’s place. It is beautiful and decorated so tastefully. The guys went ice fishing and only had to walk a few feet to do so. I would highly recommend the Wagon Wheel restaurant which uses local beef and fish and the staff and patrons there were so friendly. Whenever we reached out to Reggie with questions, he responded quickly. We’re already looking to book next year and for an extra night. It was a perfect staycation for us!

Our recent stay at Heather and Bill’s rustic cabin was nothing short of magical. The setting was idyllic—surrounded by serene woods and offering the perfect retreat from daily life. The cabin was spacious and provided for two separate sleeping areas. The beds were extremely comfortable and clean linens were supplied. We were provided with all that we needed to cook our own meals and Heather generously included common breakfast items. The cabin itself remained cool during day and was warm at night despite not being heated. We were surprised that there were no insects in the cabin for the duration of our stay. Heather did supply mosquito netting and repellent but we did not find that we needed to use them. The outdoor shower allowed for a unique experience of bathing under an open sky while affording sufficient privacy. Heather checked in regularly to see if we needed anything and was genuinely interested in making our stay a memorable one. This experience exceeded all our expectations!
