What a lovely spot! We enjoyed the panoramic views and the beautifully maintained, sheltered garden with private seating areas. Really a bonus to recover in the sun after a bike ride on the Posbank and Veluwezoom, with ice cream from the nearby ice cream farm. The cottage felt even more spacious than in the photos and has been refurbished with a lot of love and attention to detail: modern, comfortable and equipped with every comfort (underfloor heating, nice bathroom, separate toilet, induction hob, dishwasher, combi oven). Peter & Jeroen are incredibly hospitable and like to help out. For example, our racing bikes could stand safely and dry on the part. The fresh eggs, jam and blackberry port on arrival were a nice surprise. Perfect base for beautiful bike rides and visits to Doesburg, Zutphen, Museum MORE and Deventer. We'd love to come back!

We stayed with 9 people for 2 nights. For this size the house was perfect. Large spacious kitchen, where we could eat cozily and play games. Private outdoor space, with beautiful views. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable, just no windows right on the outside. There is 1 bathroom, which is a bit inconvenient, but you can prepare for that. The host, Judith, was doing very well. Good tips, thought along to our stay and was very welcoming. Beautiful quiet area, where you can walk a lot. We definitely recommend this place!

We spent a nice couple's weekend with four adults at Birgit's. Thanks to the very precise directions, we found the chalet quickly. The equipment is spotless. Many simple things that you like to forget at home, such as sugar, are available. The beds are super comfortable and everything was very clean. You don't notice much from the immediate neighbors. We were very impressed with Doesburg and if the weather had cooperated, we would certainly have seen more of the area. We are happy to recommend the place.

We were looking for a quiet place near the Veluwe and nice cities. This stay exceeded our expectations. As a chronically ill person, I need comfort and a low-stimulus environment, and that was perfectly provided here. Everything was sparkling clean: already upon entering through the shared hall we got a good impression and so was the rest. The bed was wonderful, the interior cozy without compromising on comfort. Everything was there what you might need. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and you notice that they do this with pleasure. They were available if needed, but gave complete privacy. The garden is really a highlight: beautifully landscaped, full of life and tranquility. I spent a lot of time there and even enjoyed the view from bed. My friend and I both enjoyed it immensely, each in our own way. For us, it's clear: we're going to remember this place!
