House vacation rentals in Newmarket

We were greeted well upon arrival. They showed and explained everything. We were also lucky to see beautiful peacocks on the territory. The house corresponds to the description and photos. There is a good sauna, a large pool and there is a passage from a small goubina to a large one. The jacuzzi is also large. Everything is clean and neat, we liked it, the child is delighted, we will definitely come again.🙃

Spent a lovely few days, we had planned to go out and about but we the grounds were so lovely we didn't need to. Lara was always available if we needed but we were left to ourselves to relax and enjoy the cottage and grounds. My kids want to go back already!

This is a gorgeous cottage set in the middle of countryside (but easy to get out & about in the car). The kitchen is huge and with everything you need, with several options for outdoor dining to make the most of the lovely garden. Beds are comfy with decent sized rooms, but the standout attraction is of course the pool…heated so that we (with two young kids) could enjoy it for several hours each day of our stay without anyone getting bored or chilly. Lorna & Dean v friendly & helpful hosts. Highly recommend; only caveat - while we had a great weekend here with our toddler in tow, we were outdoors for most of the time; the cottage is decorated beautifully and has flagstone flooring throughout the downstairs which are not always compatible / relaxing with an energetic 2 year old.

Her prompt communication, helpful tips about the local area, and genuine care for our comfort truly made a difference. The location couldn't have been better. Situated in the heart of the city, we were able to explore all that Cambridge has to offer with ease. Overall, our stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

Celesta has been a great host from first booking 8 months before, communicating through out answering any questions, helpful advice and letting me know when issues arose - and going above and beyond to have everything sorted for our arrival. Lovely stay had everything we needed, perfect location, train station walkable straight into the city within 10 minutes.

We had a long weekend break here. Patsie’s home was lovely, had everything with needed and in a great location, just a very short walk away from the local deli/cafe and pub both of which were lovely. The home itself is a very old quirky building, full of character and charm. With lots of interesting artifacts around the house and garden. The bed and pillows were better than any hotel I’ve ever stayed in, so comfy. The garden was lovely and peaceful with the added bonus of the pool which we made good use of. Patsie was a fantastic host from the moment she greeted us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Patsie is kind, very friendly and helpful. We will hopefully be booking again in the future.

We had a lovely stay at the Pondbarn, the barn and the surroundings are so peaceful. The interior is beautiful and cosy we all really felt at home and are already trying to arrange booking for next year. Thank you!!

My partner and j stayed here with our 2 dogs. Lovely dog friendly cottage in the lovely Village of Wicken with grwat walks and Wildlife from the doorstep,Wicken Fen is just a 5 minute walk away and adventures Fen where we saw some gorgeous Highland Cattle and the Konilk ponies. There were of boardgames to keep us occupied and a safe,secure contained garden for the dogs. The bed was very comfortable and theres a lovely open plan living room and kitchen. Would reccomended and will stay again in tye future. Josie

We had a relaxing time at Marc place ,we booked this a year ago ,even though we had a heatwave we managed to stay cool, slept well , fan in bedroom was great addition, also a Bottle of prosecco when we arrived was a nice touch, we just travelled out later in the day when cooler, shower was great love the wet room , lovely neighbours very friendly , and Marc was easy to communicate with very friendly .

WHAT A PLACE! Stunning location and being on the water was amazing. The property was very well equipped and deceptively big. Having a bbq by the water made it really feel like we were on holiday (despite the typical British weather). We know Isleham well and it’s a great location to access lots of things going on and the village pubs have amazing food. We’ll definitely be repeat customers of this place and look forward to doing some more fishing, paddle boarding/kayaking and bbq’s when we come back 🥳

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Good location to get around Cambridgeshire. Very clean, good size rooms and quiet area, would stay here again.

All three of us felt very comfortable. We liked being able to visit in the common area and it was great having two bathrooms. We each found the kitchen easy to use and appreciated having a laundry machine on the premises. In addition, we love the location. We frequented neighborhood pubs and restaurants, and visited the Abbey Gardens daily.

A very well appointed house within easy walk of railway station and city centre. Hosts very good at communicating and always responsive to queries. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for a short stay in Ely.

The neighborhood was safe and quiet, making it easy to relax and feel at home. I truly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

A pleasant Victorian house overlooking a pretty park. Well equipped kitchen and good modern shower room. Great location for walking to town centre and a good base for visiting my family in the area.

Amy & Tom’s house is a pleasure to stay at modern, roomy, secure and tastefully decorated. Perfect for us to attend a nearby family wedding every thing was fine and relaxed.

Joshua was very communicative, providing lots of useful information prior to our stay. We had an issue, of our own making and Joshua responded immediately to resolve. Great host. Highly recommended.

This property was absolutely stunning. A perfect location for a relaxing group get away. We had so much fun and enjoyed relaxing in the very spacious garden. Olly and Mirek are fantastic hosts and we would definitely recommend this place!

Great couple of nights in Ely. Michael was a fantastic, responsive host. The cottage is in an ideal location for visiting Ely’s attractions. Restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. Parking can be tricky but after unloading our luggage, we parked at the station which was close by, secure and cheap over the weekend. Inside, the super-king bed was lovely and really comfy and all the personal touches around the place made it feel very homely. There is a fantastic selection of recipe books should you fancy cooking - the appliances are very good and easy to use. The kitchen is well stocked with tea, coffee, salt, pepper, milk and lots of other bits and pieces. The wine and beer left for us in the fridge was most welcome after a long drive. We stayed on the hottest day of the year so far and the garden was a real bonus to sit out in the evenings.

We had a great stay! Check-in was simple & the house was easy to find. We had two cars and found there to be plenty of parking on nearby roads. Perfect location to hop on the park & ride and get about Cambridge easily, and the addition of a house cat was just a delight. Thanks!
