Beautiful tranquil country cottage with private garden boasting spectacular views over the Pentland hills . The cottage is well situated for exploring the area, being just 5 minutes drive from Rosslyn chapel, (which you can also walk to from the cottage by following the path through the glen.)The Pentland hills are only 10 minutes drive, and it takes less than 30 minutes to get to edinburgh city centre. It is a great place to come home to after a day of hillwalking ,working or sight seeing.

David's and Melanie's place was really good. We stayed there for 2 night and we really enjoyed it. The place is 25 mins away from Edinburgh and Edinburgh Airport too. I'd definitely recommend staying here on your trip to Edinburgh.

Really lovely space, finished to a very high standard. It felt homely yet clean and modern at the same time. Lisa was a great host — quick and clear communication throughout. The location is ideal, with easy access to the city bypass by car and convenient bus stops just down the road for getting around the city. Would definitely recommend and would happily stay again!

Nous avions une chambre pour 3 nuits chez Ann. Le logement se trouve en périphérie de Edinburgh, 30 minutes en train mais c'est assez rapide. La gare de Gorebridge est à environ 5min de marche jusqu'au logement. Ann est une hôte sympathique et bienveillante. Elle sait aussi se montrer discrète afin de nous laisser circuler dans pièces que nous partageons. Le petit déjeuner qu'elle nous prépare chaque matin est suffisant et bien appréciable. Nous recommandons ce logement sans hésiter !

Lovely place to stay if you want a more rural location with easy access to Edinburgh centre and only 20 minutes from the airport. The Chalet is very nicely furnished and wants for nothing. Open plan design but very cosy with lots of nice homely touches. Grant is very friendly and helpful with lots of tips and information on where to visit. We appreciated the EV charger. Location very convenient for University Vet School Easter Bush Campus that we were visiting. We really enjoyed exploring the Pentland Hills area and East Lothian coast, with stunning beach walks at Seacliffe and Tyninghame.
