The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse is a unique, romantic place on the South Coast. Stunning views, opposite a swimming and dog beach plus rock pools, it’s great for walks. With a comfy double bed and steep stairs, it’s private and quiet - brilliant on a sunny day, cosy in a storm. There's a fantastic cafe around the corner; shops are 10 minutes’ walk away. The main Island Bay bus stop is nearby with regular buses. It's a 9 minute drive to the airport and 15 minutes to downtown Wellington. Small dogs on request.

The stunning country location is very private but has every modern convenience and is just 17km from the town of Twizel. By day, explore Mt Cook or Tekapo then soak in a private wood-fired hot tub, under the dazzling stars in a dark sky reserve! It’s 50-minutes to Mt Cook or Tekapo & 2.5hrs from Queenstown.
