Lovely house in the city centre

We loved staying in Debra's house. It met all our expectations and more. It was very comfortable with lovely decor and we felt right at home. We appreciated the fresh milk, beverages and chocolates that Debra left for us. The location was great, very close to the city centre and the train station. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic host! We stayed a month and had everything we needed. Appreciated having a washer and dryer! The home was very quiet. Perfectly located near the old town, university and cathedral. Steeped in history. We would recommend this home to anyone visiting Durham!

had a fantastic stay. the log burner was lush in the evening on coming in from the hot tub... the location was beautiful and just a quick taxi ride into Durham... very impressed that there were basics there such as tea/coffee, cooking oil, condiments and washing up liquid. Also shampoo etc...would happily stay there again... absolutely first class and excellent communication from the owners...

Fernley Tower hotel is a brilliant choice, brimming with character. Our Cathedral View room was amazing and breakfast was excellent too. Also if you like Indian food you're going to love the restaurant downstairs.

Deluxe Studio Apartment With Free Parking

SimonRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This was a great and affordable alternative to a hotel for a 3 day stay. The apartment was a good size and had everything we needed including a very big bed. Athough the property is located outside of central Durham there are convenient and frequent buses to the centre. And parking in the center was easy and not expensive. The only problem we had was knowing which one was our apartment and finding the lockbox but this was mainly down to us not reading the instructions in sufficient detail.
