Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Netherlands

Lovely space to stay in. Clean and comfortable and picturesque location.

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

The place is really very cozy and inviting. Due to the existing Rituals products, the house also smelled very good. I can only report good things about the immediate surroundings. It is nice, quiet and idyllic, yet you can get to Zandvoort or Amsterdam within a good 20 minutes by car. Ruud gave us really helpful tips on this. In addition, we were personally accompanied by him from the parking lot to the accommodation, which makes you feel immediately positive. We really enjoyed our time here. :)

it is a cozy beautiful place, with nice nature around the cottage and yet close to all facilities. relaxed and very friendly host and hostess. At least I didn't feel like going home.

Our stay at Berdie went well beyond our expectations. This was not just a ‘stay’, it was a wonderful experience. The accommodation was as described and the floor-heating was superb. The wooden stove -while not necessary for heating- was very cozy. The place is surrounded by nature with excellent walking trails. Icing on the cake was the Sunday music performances on the premises. Both Berdie and her husband Gerard are terrific hosts and I highly recommend them. We look forward staying here again in the near future!

Together with my friends, I had a lovely and cozy stay in Woudrichem. The location is perfect – quiet, but with plenty to do in the area. Within 5 minutes you can take the ferry to the atmospheric Gorinchem. The house itself has all the comforts: a spacious kitchen, nice bathroom and both a front and back garden where you can sit comfortably. We really didn't miss anything! Our host Corrie was super welcoming. She welcomed us warmly and even had a delicious apple pie ready for us – so thoughtful! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to get away in their own country! 🌳🍰⛴️

Such a lovely stay! This place was exactly what we needed — peaceful, cozy, and away from all the city noise. The cottage is super cute, clean, and has everything you need. Loved waking up to the sounds of farm animals, and it’s close to some handy local grocers too. The host, Marit was amazing — super responsive and really made us feel welcome. Highly recommend if you’re looking to unplug, recharge, and enjoy a bit of countryside bliss. We’d definitely come back!

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! Ellen and Jaap were lovely hosts, we had an incredible stay at their place! It was so creatively and artistically decorated, and I have never slept better at an Airbnb — the beds were so comfortable, and the neighborhood was so peaceful. It was awesome to have a sweet dog and cat roaming around to make us animal-lovers feel right at home :) 5/5 stars on all levels!

Accommodation is very good. Complete interior and good amenities. Comfortable furniture and good beds. If you go with several couples, you have to know each other well, because the toilet is accessible via the bedroom.

Eat a nice cottage! There were two of us here for a workation: working during the day but in a different environment for the holiday feeling outside working hours. We were able to set up two workspaces, one in the kitchen and one in the attic. There were better chairs for us for that reason, very nice. It is small but meets all expectations, well described and even more atmospheric than expected in advance. The weather was nice so also nice in the garden.

We spent nine days in this fantastic bed and breakfast. The garden fascinated us in particular, what grows there and how lovingly everything was combined, just great. Sitting by the fireplace in the evening, enjoying a glass of wine and having good and fun conversations with Maria and Pieter Jan, a pleasure. Both are very attentive and kind, give good tips and Maria's breakfast in the morning was always a highlight. The apartment is cozily and tastefully furnished. We felt like at home here. Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

Martijn’s place is just wonderful! Perfect for a weekend to celebrate my birthday with my friends in a peaceful and beautiful environment. The house is just gorgeous and everything is done so that your stay is comfortable and wonderful ! You have everything you need and more :) The hot tub and the sauna were great, a little feel of Sweden for sure! Martijn is very nice and helpful and very responsive! He gives great tips also for what to do in the area which we enjoyed a lot. Will definitely try to come back in the future !!

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

We had a lovely stay and Anneke or her daughter were always available for questions during the stay. The house is very nicely decorated, everything was clean, good amenities and the pool and Jacuzzi were great. I am more than happy to recommend the place.

Had a wonderful stay at the Princenhof in Oranjewoud. Elbert will let you know how to get in and responds quickly. The Jagershuis is spacious, private and is wonderfully located in the woods. What peace and space. Other than that, everything is available and just great!

My family stayed at Boon and Jan’s beautiful house for a few days last week. We were welcomed by Jan who lives next door and they both him and Boon were so quick to answer any questions and give us recommendations whenever we asked. The house was very warm and comfortable and had everything we needed and more. My children enjoyed using the paddle board and canoe. We spent 2 days whilst away visiting Amsterdam which was an easy train ride of 20 mins from nearby Abcoude. Anyone looking for a delightful and lovely place to stay whilst in the area should definitely choose this property, we will be back in the future for sure and make sure it’s for longer.

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.
