Forget the time, follow the shadows of the tent canvas, walk with your feet through the grass, disappear into the starry sky by the campfire or relax in the hot tub. At Understeboppe Glamping B&B in Friesland, it's secretly always a bit of a vacation. Not so strange when you consider that the Frisian lakes, Giethoorn, the Weerribben and the Drenthe forests are all a 20-minute drive away. You will sleep in one of our two trendy Bell tents with comfortable Auping beds. You will be sharing the bathroom with the two other guests.

Sleeping among the sheep in the Tante Tipi

Experience the teepee life at Villa Vagebond in the Tante Tipi. In the evening, light your own fire with marshmallows in the main teepee or barbecue with the Dutch oven set at the long picnic table and enjoy a fresh egg in the morning that you can pick yourself from the chicken coop (provided the chickens are not breeding). There is a shared hot tub, which can be filled and heated by yourself. The pigs, chickens, sheep and donkey Koen are your neighbors and walk loose on the premises. The Waalstrand is 300 meters away.

Nice safari tent at the edge of the forest

Our safari tents are located on the edge of the woods, just outside the village of West Terschelling. Quiet, outdoors, and centrally located on the island. By bike, you can explore the island. In the cozy villages, you will find cozy shops and restaurants. The North Sea beach is vast and wider than you are used to from other Dutch beaches. It is good to know that there is no plumbing and running water in the tent. You use the sanitary building that has been completely renovated and equipped with every comfort.

Canvas Camp Retreat

Geniet van de prachtige, natuurrijke omgeving van deze romantische accommodatie. Met vrij uitzicht op de weilanden biedt onze accommodatie rust en vrijheid in de tuin. Naast de tipi tent bevindt zich een blokhut met keuken, ontbijtplek (binnen of buiten) en een apart sanitair gebouw. In de tuin is er voldoende ruimte om te relaxen (bv in de hangstoel), een kampvuur te maken en de bbq aan te steken. Een extra bijzet tentje (voor kinderen) is mogelijk. Informeer gerust naar de mogelijkheden.

With a dm of 5.5 meters, the tent features a luxurious, ready-made box spring bed (double or two singles) and space for an extra bed. Fully equipped with a kitchen, dining table, seating area, fridge, and private terrace. The traditional design and comfortable mattresses ensure a restful night's sleep. Located on a peaceful mini campsite with clean facilities. Perfect for travelers with minimal luggage.

Smûk Lytse Bell cozy glamping in Friesland

Unique overnight stay in Friesland! Experience and enjoy this beautiful place. Brand new on the grounds of Smuk Recreatie. In total, there are 6 Smuk Tents on the meadow. View of the cows, the meadow and the water. The tent is furnished as standard for 2 people and it is possible to reserve 2 extra people. Cooking is done the outdoor way...Delicious on the BBQ grill. A stay in our beautiful, atmospheric tipi tent is a special experience. You can enjoy the peace and space in the fully furnished 4-person ruralhut. With a fire pit, mood lighting, and a nice interior. This accommodation is located in the middle of the meadows. There is wifi, stove, coffee maker, kettle and supplies such as glasses, cups, cutlery, crockery, etc. all available. You can keep your groceries fresh in the fridge. And the tent is equipped with electricity points.

In the middle of the Veluwemeer (Lake Veluwe), near Harderwijk, lies a small island: De Kluut. On this uninhabited island, you can enjoy adventurous camping in a tipi or spend the night in a yurt. Stay on this paradisiacal island this summer, surrounded by beautiful nature, and enjoy the wide, open views over the water. On and around this uninhabited island, there is plenty to do, and a boat runs to the mainland four times a day if you’d like to explore the surroundings.

Enjoy the wilderness in a tipi

Relaxing enjoyment in the middle of the nature Between Deventer and Twello, bordering the floodplains of the IJssel, is located bordering the Wilderness. A great place where you can enjoy the nature in a tipi. Children can climb, scramble, play with sand and water and of course discover for yourself what else there is to experience. You feel in the middle of nature, yet you can cycle to the historic center of Hanseatic city of Deventer in fifteen minutes.
