Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Neos Kosmos, Athens

Three of us stayed in Panna's wonderfully equipped apartment for 4 nights in June, 2025. The apartment has everything we could possibly want It's spacious, charming, and clean. The kitchen is superbly equipped with cooking equipment and serving pieces. The roof deck washing machine had laundry supplies. The 2 balconies, one with table and chairs, give views over the quiet street. Panna replied instantly to any question. We followed Panna’s printed suggestions for walks in the area and for a trip on the Tram to the beach. The Tram stops by the nearby Neos Kosmos METRO stop. The METRO stop Neos Kosmos is a short walk and is 2 stops from Acropolis and 3 from the Syntagma stop to the airport. We arrived in Athens close to midnight and took the bus to Syntagma. Uber from there was about 7Euros. For shopping there is Carrefour as well as a few other grocery stores nearby. Check in is with a lock box, so easy. This is a wonderful place with a superb host. Who could want more.

Fantastic Airbnb experience from start to finish, Kleio has excellent communication, super friendly and helpful, the apartment is beautiful, very thoughtfully designed and contains everything you could ever think of for a home from home. I would recommend to anyone and would certainly book again got our next trip to Athens.

It is very convenient location. Apartment is very nice and clean. Isabella keeps in touch well and very detail instructions. She always responds timely and keeps us transition smoothly! Great host excellent communication very clean apartment. Just next door to lovely coffee shop and close to great restaurants.

The host was very nice and helpful. Although the location of the house is not in the center, you can get anywhere you want by public transportation.

Katerina’s place was very close to the park area near the acropolis as well as a few cafes slightly out of the crowded part of town. She was very responsive and was even able to let us check in early, which was a huge help. The slight problem with Wi-fi was far outweighed by her customer service. I would certainly stay with her again!

Clara was sweet and welcoming. He waited patiently for us, even though we were a little late. She had prepared a small welcome gift for us. The house had everything you needed for a peaceful stay. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, but very communicative with buses, trams and metro. It was easy and quick to get to the center, main attractions and beaches. There were shops, supermarkets and restaurants nearby, so we didn't miss anything.

A very nice, comfortable, and modern apartment. All of the appliances work well and the apartment is very clean. It has a beautiful view on the Acropolis, especially at night. The apartment is located à in a residential area with about a 30 mins walk or 20 mins by metro to the tourist attractions. The check-in process was very simple, however the check-out time is very strict with not much flexibility.

Our stay at Athens at Kostas's place was wonderful. The house is exactly as described in the listing. Mr. Kostas is a wonderful host and he welcomed us on our areival and also helped with our luggages. The house has a fully functional kitchen and the apartment is very spacious. He had also arranged for Airport pick up on extra xost, which was really convenient. However, on our return journey to Airport we took Metro as that was also very convenient. It is located very near (150 mtrs) from Syng Froux Metro Station and Acropolis and Plaka is walakable distance (15 to 20 mnts). Good Restaurants, Bakeries and Provision stores are just across the road. We stayed here for 2 days and it felt like home for my family. I would recoomend this property to everyone who is visiting Athens. Thank you Mr. Kostas for your wonderful hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay for four days. The apartment was just a two-minute walk from the metro and located in a nice, safe neighborhood. It was very clean and exactly as shown in the photos. Liroy was very attentive—his local tips and the information he provided about the apartment were extremely helpful. They had thought of everything, and I had a smooth, hassle-free stay. Thank you!

We found for the 80/night price it was worthwhile but you must be able to walk hills. Not super far from subway but if you have luggage expect to pay 8-10 euro for uber ride from metro exit, generally sidewalks can be slippery with leather bottom sandals in Athens so wear rubber soles or sneakers Grout in bathroom needs cleaning and we needed extra towels for slow leak at shower during our two night stay. Host uses mostly auto-replies so would ensure you arrive before 10 pm so can get in person help at bakery to get in. Refrigerator and small balcony with table and chairs made it a good choice for us. Metro made this a win.

Great stay in Athens, Maria was one of the most responsive hosts, her recommendations were great, and the space looked like the photos. As mentioned in other reviews, you do need to set the water heater on about 30 mins before using the shower, but I knew that going in and it wasn’t a big deal at all. Also worth noting that the mattress and sofa bed are pretty firm, which I personally like, but since I always look for bed descriptions in reviews, thought I’d respond in kind. All in all, a wonderful first time in Athens. Thank you, Maria!

A cute apartment near the metro and a big supermarket. My accommodation was very good. I would stay there again in the future, given that I return to Athens

The location is nice. The town is safe and there are many markets and restaurnats near the apartment. The host is kind and responds to us quickly. The apartment is big enough.

I can’t recommend Evangelos’ place enough! This was the perfect place for my husband and I on our short 3-day stay in Athens. The location was great, very walkable to many cafes and restaurants. The walk to the Acropolis was uphill so we would get a quick/cheap taxi there, and walk back to the Airbnb (~15 min walk). We felt very safe in the neighborhood, there were always people around. The hot tub was such a great place to relax after long days of walking, and the view of the Parthenon was just lovely - especially at night. Finally, Evangelos was so easy to communicate with and answered all of my questions. He also connected us with a great driver Petros, who picked us up from our cruise port and brought us to the airport. We had a fantastic stay in Athens and everything from check in to check out went very smoothly thanks to Evangelos!

We loved the apartment, very good location and connected to different means of transportation, super spacious and impeccable, and Erik was super friendly and welcomed us earlier than expected and gave us all the necessary information for our days in Athens, very attentive. Super recommended!

Prefect location. Walkable to all sights and attractions. Streets are busy but like any large city it is the best and easiest way to get around. The apartment was amazing. Balcony pictures on listing do not do any justice to standing outside or in jacuzzi. Tax and yannis were extremely Helpful assisting with rides to and from the port/airport as well as tons of local recommendations!

Love the airbnb. Michael is an excellent host. He was always attentive in case we needed him, which we did a couple of times to help us with directions and transit. This made us feel more comfortable. The apartment was very clean when we arrived and there was a nice basket of fruit waiting for us. The location was great, only minutes to Syngrou Fix train station. But you can walk to all main attractions in Athens from the apartment. There is a nice outdoor market to the east of the apartment about 2 blocks. Lots of places to eat and to buy necessities near by. We give top marks to this airbnb and the host Michael. We highly recommend it.

Nice, comfortable apartment for 4-6 people. Easy 15 minute walk to historic center and many restaurants. Very close to tram stop. Quiet neighborhood just 2 blocks from major hotel and main street. Lavish quickly responded to all queries before and during our trip.
