Wow! We had such an amazing time at the Rusty Bear…we didn’t want to leave! The location is incredible, just a few steps from the water. The sauna and running down to the lake combo comes highly recommended! The trains were not a bother at all but glad of the warning as the horn is loud haha! There are amazing trails just down the road, the bakery is amazing - great pizzas on Fridays and really good coffee and baked goods (the famous cinnamon buns did not disappoint!). The house was super clean, and the little dog touches were really stand out - beds, toys, biscuits! It’s a great spot for dogs. There are neighbours close but you can’t see them at all from the property and hardly even from the beach. So wonderfully idyllic

This stay was our favourite of our two week long trip from BC to Manitoba. It is incredible in every way!

Hidden gem in Crawford bay just had the most incredible one-night stay at Gloria’s Gallery Studio! Tucked away in the heart of Crawford Bay, the property is both private and peaceful. Gloria was so warm, friendly, and accommodating—I felt right at home the moment I arrived. The studio is spotless, beautifully maintained, and surrounded by stunning landscaping and vibrant gardens. It has everything you could possibly need, and then some! The bed, bedding, and linens are all top quality and incredibly comfortable. During my stay, I had the chance to explore the local charm—visiting incredible artisans, grabbing a delicious bite at Red's Bakery, and even walking to the nearby beach—all within easy walking distance. This was easily a 5-star stay, and I’m already looking forward to rebooking for a longer visit. Do yourself a favor and book this place—you won’t regret it!

Fantastic stay at the Hidden Half Mile Lake House! This is a beautiful home in a beautiful setting. We were blown away by the views from every aspect of the house including the hot tub! Attention to detail was amazing and everything was top spec. Despite being within walking distance of Nelson there is a feeling of peace and tranquility around the area. The hosts do a brilliant job of keeping the house in great condition and Jake went out of his way to come by and blow up the paddle boards for our use! It’s not at all surprising that this house was recently listed as one of the best AirBnBs in Canada. We would thoroughly recommend anyone to book this place and we would love to return one day! Had the opportunity to stay at Jacquiline's with 2 other family groups and it was great. The kitchen is huge and super well stocked and a great gathering place. The beds were super comfortable too and overall we had a great stay!

We had a great time celebrating a 50th birthday. Wonderful yard and nice, clean house. Worked out perfect for us and close to town!

Marji was amazing with her communication - very prompt and pleasant. She went overboard for us in even allowing a late check out even though it was not ultimately needed. She provided lots of ideas for things to do. Thank you so much Marjie for a beautiful place for my husband and his coworker to stay. Cheers!

Loved our stay at Hummingbird! The suite was beautifully designed and decorated. Everything was clean and comfortable. We especially loved the open and spacious kitchen area and the patio. Being right at the resort, it was so nice to be able to get to the lifts in the morning without worrying about parking and to be able to come back for lunch. Would 100% stay again!

Well located close to the chairlifts, clean and functional apartment with a king bed in the upstairs loft and a murphy bed on the lower level. Handy and secure storage room in the hallway by the front door to the apartment, perfect for snowboards/skis and boots, etc. Karen was responsive and prompt in all communications, and provided helpful information on restaurants and activities around Red Mtn and Rossland. The apartment is located in a building called 'The Crescent at Red', and the undercover parking space was tight for our F150; smaller vehicles will have no issue however, and there is also plenty of parking in the lot outside the front door to the building. We would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and would definitely stay here again.

Amy's place was perfect for our needs, beautiful backyard and close to everything that Fruitvale has to offer. unfortunately we were there on work related reasons and did not have time to fully enjoy the barbecue or the very comfy bed but for the time we were there it was most enjoyable and we would stay there again

Davis was super friendly, and accommodating. His place has literally everything you would need. The kitchen was well stocked! The yard was awesome for the family! David had great instructions on how to find the cool local spots. Our family had a great time there!

This is a perfect getaway that the hosts clearly took care into outfitting. It has all the touches of Rossland, from the historical map decor to history books and trail maps. The furnishings were comfortable and the bed was large, comfy, and warm. The bathroom shower is huge with laundry right there (with a convenient, labelled laundry basket - the hosts really did think of everything!). There are modern amenities, including dimming lights and electric blinds, any any instructions were clearly labelled, and they even set up everything you'd need for either tea or coffee. The place is obviously very new, and it's clean and lovely. The hosts were responsive and friendly. This place is private, but the hosts are on site, so you know they're close and willing to help if anything came up. An extra special touch was having oil and basic cooking spices/needs in the cupboard. It is a little loud during the day from the salon, but perfectly quiet at night. Can't wait to stay again!

Tennille & Kelly have created a wonderful haven in one of the best towns in the world. Every step - from booking to arrival to checkout - was easy and clear. The space itself is wonderfully and thoughtfully appointed, making it a great launching pad for all we wanted to do in Rossland and beyond. And the bed: so comfortable! It was such a pleasure to meet Tennille at the end of our stay. She made us feel a part of the community. A very good neighbor. 😊

A beautiful, well-maintained log home that was perfect for our furry friends, surrounded by a peaceful setting, yet steps away from the Nordic/hiking trails, Red Mountain, and the Roosland services and recreation.

Maria is an excellent host! We had a couple issues but she addressed the one immediately (unfunctioning lock) and I'm sure she'll fix the other pronto too- the listing implies more beds than exist. There's one in the bedroom, one in the loft and a foldout futon. All are comfortable. The space is very clean. The views are very nice. The cabin is very nicely outfitted with appropriate but unique furniture. The kitchen is well outfitted too. The space was very private and the deck a nice place to gather. Highly recommend both the host and any of her properties!

The pictures made it look a little more isolated then I expected and the neighborhood was pretty cluttered, but overall beautiful location with a cozy little cabin and great views.

Sunrise Cabin was a private, quiet, cozy cabin with stunning views. Some highlights: - Well-stocked, turn-key cabin: we brought camping supplies just in case, but were pleased to find that the cabin was stocked with just about everything we needed. Paper towels, marshmallow roasting sticks, slippers for the deck, little details that truly made this a getaway. - Roofed cabin deck: to enjoy the outdoors even during rainy spells - Flush toilet and hot indoor shower - Friendly, well-behaved dogs: they were a delight to be around. Also, being situated in a forest around bear season, I felt better knowing that 2 dogs were patrolling the area. - Super close to hiking trails: there is a hidden path behind the cabin that takes about 60 seconds of walking to connect you to the trail network. Great for after-dinner walks or spontaneous hikes. - 5-minute drive to Kaslo All-in-all, Sunrise Cabin made it easy to enjoy the outdoors in comfort and comes fully recommended to friends and family.

Such a cute and quaint place with all the amenities you could think of and more! Can’t recommend the space enough!

We had a fantastic stay at the Cedar Cabin! It’s situated on a piece of land in the middle of a mountain paradise. Beautiful views off the front deck, secluded forest to the back. The cabin is cozy with lots of room to roam around. Loved the simplistic decor. It’s a quick walk to the beach and an easy drive into Kaslo. Nights were quiet! Bed was comfortable, bathroom towels were plush, shower had good pressure and hot water lasted. We will definitely be recommending this place to others who want to explore the beautiful village of Kaslo and we will be staying here again ourselves I’m sure!

I had my bachelorette trip at Jody's Cabin, & me and my 3 bridesmaids had a blast! The cabin was super cute, across the road beside the Kootenay Lake. A 5 minute drive down the road led you to 'Twin Bays Beach', a beautiful public beach, with nice sand & swimmable clear water. A 30min drive from the cabin takes you to Creston city, where you can pick up groceries, hit up wineries, explore the downtown and many other activities. The Cabin itself was clean & spacious. 2 beds & a big couch easy enough to sleep 2 on. Jody supplied us with some water, half a big jug of water & lots of smaller water bottles in the fridge. The cabin had everything you needed, fridge, stove, TV ect. Beautiful view of the lake & mountains as well. Would stay here again!
