We loved our stay. There were five of us (adults) and it served us so well. It was a sweet place to come back to after a day of hiking and exploring. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen very functional, the BBQ got some great use. And we felt supported by the hosts, they were very responsive to any questions or needs.

Wow! We had such an amazing time at the Rusty Bear…we didn’t want to leave! The location is incredible, just a few steps from the water. The sauna and running down to the lake combo comes highly recommended! The trains were not a bother at all but glad of the warning as the horn is loud haha! There are amazing trails just down the road, the bakery is amazing - great pizzas on Fridays and really good coffee and baked goods (the famous cinnamon buns did not disappoint!). The house was super clean, and the little dog touches were really stand out - beds, toys, biscuits! It’s a great spot for dogs. There are neighbours close but you can’t see them at all from the property and hardly even from the beach. So wonderfully idyllic

Stephanie was a great host, very helpful. The property was very comfortable and had beautiful lake and mountain views. We loved the primary bath with the huge soaking tub and lovely tile work. Great walking trails very close by.

We were looking for a quiet and peaceful weekend and we definitely found it. Beautiful views and very quiet area. Candace was very quick to respond to our questions. Would definitely return.

This place is a gem! The house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Awesome views! We went down to the water every single day to swim, fish for trout and throw sticks in the water for our pup. Great hiking in the area. Super friendly and responsive host. Highly recommended!!

Genevieve’s home had everything we needed for our trip to visit family near by. The big back yard was especially great for the kids to run around!

Awesome place to work from with a colleague for the week. We each got privacy, lots of places close by to walk too. Close to tons of hikes. And also quick trip to downtown and surrounding area for work meetings

I loved my stay in Bunkieland. It was so peaceful with a beautiful view from the deck. Exactly the escape I was looking for. It was also great to have a place my dog could stay, he loved the bunkie just as much as I did. Also a great location if you are coming to Nelson to bike... very close to Morning Mtn trails. Maria was super nice and helpful. Would gladly visit again!

We wife and I came to visit friends in Rossland and are so happy we got to stay at Karen’s place. She is such a warm and welcoming host and has an eye for detail such as leaving out milk, bread and cookies for us as well as treats for our puppies. The place is very well appointed and even has underfloor heating in the bathroom which has a gorgeous sunken bath and nice separate shower with good water pressure. The setting is very calm and peaceful with great views out over the surrounding hills. We didn’t have time to get to use the hot tub or pool but will do on next visit. You can easily walk into town, plus there is lots to do on your doorstep including hiking, golf and mountain biking. Thank you Karen for a great experience!

This is such a beautiful, peaceful, and comfortable place to stay. I’ve stayed in Airbnbs all over the world, and this is truly one of my absolute favourites. The attention to detail and craftsmanship in the cabin is outstanding. The surrounding pond, forest, and stream make for an incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating setting. Jacqui and Brandon were top-notch hosts—thoughtful, responsive, and welcoming. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was peaceful and private. When we arrived it was spotless and well stocked for simple cooking and coffee in the morning. The creek outside was lovely and we enjoyed sitting on the patio listening to the water and birds. This was a great find, we’ll be back!

We can’t express how much we appreciated Glenn’s care and kindness. He plowed the snow every morning and made sure we had everything we needed. Home was amazing. We loved interacting and meeting him as he lives in the adjoining unit. The home is super comfortable and a chef’s kitchen with all you need to cook. Views were breathtaking. Thank you and we would definitely stay again!!

We had a fantastic stay at the Cedar Cabin! It’s situated on a piece of land in the middle of a mountain paradise. Beautiful views off the front deck, secluded forest to the back. The cabin is cozy with lots of room to roam around. Loved the simplistic decor. It’s a quick walk to the beach and an easy drive into Kaslo. Nights were quiet! Bed was comfortable, bathroom towels were plush, shower had good pressure and hot water lasted. We will definitely be recommending this place to others who want to explore the beautiful village of Kaslo and we will be staying here again ourselves I’m sure!

Breanna’s place was the perfect spot for us to stay with a baby. She anticipated our needs and put out a high chair for us. Having a dishwasher and laundry was so helpful when travelling with a little one, and the sauna gave us something to do after the baby went to bed! The space was clean, well decorated, and very comfortable. We’d highly recommend staying here! Thanks again, Breanna!
