Highly recommend staying at Solio Gardens. House was lovely and spacious and beautifully clean. Beds were comfy and showers hot! Our children enjoyed the pool table and space in the garden to play football. We were a party of 11 and self catered. Kitchen was basic but fine to cook simple meals. We were confused by the location of the property as the map is inaccurate but Alex explained exact location (near the airstrip in Nanyuki) before we set off. We went to Ol Peteja Conservancy (a 45 minute drive away) which was awesome as you see so many animals. Would stay here again.

First, Lena is a super great host. From the onset she was always reachable, warm and promptly responsive. She made the villa feel like home! A lot of thought has gone into this facility - it is large and very clean. There is a place to roast meat (nyama choma) which was such a good activity for our evening. There is also a beautiful lawn that is very welcoming and well kept. The activities that we engaged in included a hike in the forest up the hill that leads to an amazing view. There is also a waterfall that we visited, super refreshing. Mount Kenya Urangi gate is just 20 kilometers from the villa and this allowed us an unforgettable experience of a mountain forest. At our request, Lena organized for a guide to take us to all these places. The villa experience made our 2 day stay feel very short, so we will be going back as soon as our schedules can allow. Thank you Lena. We highly recommend this facility. Es & Pato

Booked Alice's place for an overnight stay for a work group. Easy check-in, and the house was comfortable and well-equipped. Would certainly recommend for others!

The host, Alex, was super supportive during the check in, as we got to the place very late, there was someone waiting for us. The check in was very smooth! Also, the house is very big and with all comforts. Only small issue are the bathrooms: one room has no ensuite bathroom,but there is no shower outside other rooms. As well, ensuite rooms have no door between the room and the bathroom... That gets slightly uncomfortable from time to time! In general was a very pleasant experience
