Family-friendly vacation rentals in Nantucket

Great host. Great location. This is a getaway, but easy in and out on and off the island and great access to beaches. Ferry is easy on and off and Pete was great with communication and very helpful.

We had a great weekend at Dan & Sheila’s. It was exactly as described. They were super responsive and very friendly. Would stay again if we come back.

Beautiful, large home! It was perfect for a family get-together. Very nice location and well-stocked with everything we needed. We really enjoyed having use of the bicycles in the shed and rode the bike trail near the house. The kids loved playing ping pong and foosball in the wonderful basement. The basement/game room, in particular, was a great place for my brother's toddler, who made good use of the huge variety of toys down there. We had a great time in this lovely house, thank you!

Wonderful place for my large family to stay for a wedding weekend! Definitely located close by things so easy walk but also large driveway so we could bring cars and drive to things. The master bedroom is unbelievably huge! Amazing if you have a baby/pack and play.

We had wonderful days at Big Chill. The cottage and main house is located very privately in a wooded area and surrounded by a beautiful garden, creating a magical space in nature. The cottage is very beautiful, bright, clean and has most things you need.We liked especially the upper floor where all beds were in one spacious room The cottage is entirely designed and built with care and character, craftsmanship, an artistic eye, and much heart by the hosts Kati and Mark. And they are ,as well ,very caring about their guests. They enjoy having guests and helping them, which creates a unique place where we felt very well and being in the right place.Thank you for creating such a nice place and sharing it with all your guests.

We cannot say enough about this special place. Everything was perfect. It was everything we could have asked and more. This cottage has absolutely everything you would ever need. The location is wonderful. Linda has thought of everything to make you feel comfortable. She is very responsive and caring. We will definitely be back next year, already looking forward!

We visited Island Grace for a long weekend and enjoyed the many perks of this beautiful home! It was a perfect spot to visit Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, and beaches and just a short drive to other areas and towns. We enjoyed biking, the hot tub, and the well-appointed kitchen. The beds were so comfortable! We truly had everything we needed and thought it was so fun to watch their HGTV episode!

Had a nice visit to Edgartown with some friends here. Location was excellent. Quiet street close to the downtown area. Clean and simple accommodations. 2 full bathrooms, which was nice. Outdoor shower was lovely and yard was spacious. The only thing I’ll mention for people looking to come here is that both bathrooms have one door to them that is just a thin and opaque sheet of accordion hard plastic. Everything can be heard… Luckily I stayed with my very good friends, but I imagine it could be an issue for some! Overall, we had a wonderful time and would stay again.

The place was adorable— like a little coastal cottage! Fab view of the Clocktower downtown. Super convenient and walking distance to everything. Lots of light! We would definitely stay again!

Anne’s home was beautiful with lovely vaulted ceilings and nice decorative touches. It was a nice home to retreat to at the end of our action-packed days visiting the highlights of Martha’s Vineyard. The location is unbeatable and within only 10 minute driving distance to the center of Edgartown and ~20 minutes to Oak Bluffs. Given this home’s open layout, this is the ideal place for a family with children.

My adult daughter and I stayed 3 nights at Kerstin’s quaint in town home. It was delightful! The home was clean and well stocked with bedding, towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper and coffee. The location was great! Close to town and beaches. No car needed. There is the free Wave island transport bus right down the road that takes you to all parts of the island. The outdoor area was great for a cocktail or morning coffee. We will definitely be back!

This was one of the best places we have stayed on Martha’s Vineyard. The location can not be beat! The home was exactly as shown. The decor could be in a magazine. The outdoor space was so welcoming and relaxing. All amenities were as advertised. Our host was very responsive. I hope we can rent their home again some time.

I would recommend this rental property. The ad/listing is accurate and the home owner is quick to reply and easy to contact if you should have any issues or questions.

This was our fifth (!) time staying at this amazing cottage out near Madaket, and we loved it as much as we have on previous trips. It's a great spot, with a lovely view of Long Pond and a short trip to numerous beaches and (our favorite spot) Millie's. The house itself is a great set-up for a family (we have two young kids) with three well-appointed bedrooms, and a living space and primary bedroom that are both somewhat separate from the "kid" bedrooms. Carolyn is always an incredibly responsive host. We love this Airbnb!

This was a great getaway. Very easy accommodations with everything you need and you can't beat the location - walk to town and beaches. Faith was very communicative and good host. I can't recommend enough!!!!

Loved staying in this house! It's a very charming older house with incredible vibes, just an easy jaunt to Jetties. We will absolutely be trying to stay here in the future.

Wonderful place to stay on Nantucket! Even lovelier inside than photos :) Very comfortable beds, terrific kitchen and perfect lounging around space to visit with our friends. Thanks, Jenny - really enjoyed being there despite the "Nor'Easter" :)

Lovely host and an adorable cottage! Just note that if you visit during a cold weekend, there are not really heating options in bedrooms so bundle up!

Kathy and Joe’s house was very comfortable and roomy. Kathy was a great communicator even all the way from Paris. The area is very peaceful and we were able to take long walks down the private road. We loved watching the rabbits playing on the lawn.
