Our house is very private as it sits on top of the mountain 1/2 mile away from the main road on 60 acres with views of Lake Fontana. The house can accommodate 16 comfortably with 3 king beds, 2 queen, 2 sleeper sofa’s and 4 twin beds. It’s perfect for a family or friend vacation. Lake access is just a short walk away. The public boat ramp is just a mile away. The driveway is steep and curvy so an all wheel or 4 wheel drive is recommend. Located 30 min. From railway station. No pets

You'll love sitting on our deck overlooking the lake, and walking down to the water's edge to go for a swim or launch one of our kayaks. This is a four season vacation spot. Create your own memories in the western North Carolina mountains by Lake Chatuge! Enjoy great hiking, boating, fishing, and much more! Take advantage of the hiking and biking on the Jack Rabbit Mountain trails along the shores by Lake Chatuge. Winter discounts available from January 1 until March 31. OPTIONAL MINI COTTAGE (for a third bedroom that sleeps 2) with Queen sized bed and TV but no extra bathroom for an extra $25 per night plus $25 cleaning.

Mountain Lake House [Kayaks & Paddleboards]

Welcome to PaddleFin! You will enjoy the beautiful lake and mountain views from the large deck on the house and a deck close to the water. This is a peaceful retreat - cell phone service is not available or very limited, no Wi-Fi, and no TV service. We allow A MAXIMUM of 4 guests! There is one king bed and one queen bed. We currently have two kayaks (one single and one two-person), two paddleboards, and a canoe available for use by our guests. Paddles and life jackets are included.
