Use Azumino and Ikeda-cho as your base in summer to enjoy the spectacular views of the Northern Alps. You can fully enjoy mountain sightseeing unique to this season, such as Kamikochi, the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, and Hakuba Happo Pond. From the second half of August to September, the summer bustle calms down, and it is a season when you can enjoy the quiet of Shinshu. During the day, go to the mountains and highlands, and at night, enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. This is a rental cottage where you can enjoy a sauna, BBQ, and the starry sky. As a base for sightseeing in Azumino, Hakuba, and Kamikochi, you can enjoy a comfortable stay for one night or for extended periods. Access to Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe is also good, and it can accommodate group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. With a washing machine and a bathroom dryer, it's also comfortable for extended stays. You can come by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient. Free pick-up and drop-off are available from Shinano-Matsukawa Station and Akashina Station. Other pick-up and drop-off services and sightseeing pick-up and drop-off services are available for 2,000-8,000 yen (round trip) depending on the distance, within 2 hours one way. For groups of 5 or more, please consult in advance because we can arrange a rental car. There are still openings on weekdays in September. It is also recommended for student trips in the latter half of summer vacation, as well as for couples and small groups.

Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). Enjoy Takayama's history to the fullest in an excellent location. <Building and Hida master carpenters> Built 145 years ago by a master craftsman from Hida, this building has been revived here by modern craftsmen. Mökki means "cottage" in Finnish. Enjoy your time in a special place surrounded by nature. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. Feel free to use the entire building, which has been renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, as well as the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery and the forest where the stream flows.You can see birds, squirrels, and martens in the forest, and you can enjoy walking around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid attention to the interior of the room and kitchen utensils so that you can enjoy "living". At the pavilion by the stream, you can enjoy BBQs and campfires without worrying about the weather. In the green season, it is the perfect base for hiking, fishing, paddle boarding, and golf, and in the snow season, it is also the perfect base for winter sports. The nearest station is an 8-minute walk to Nameri Station (Ainokaze Railway, Toyama Railway), and 9 minutes by car to the Nameri Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway, with good access to Toyama Prefecture, Hokuriku, and the surrounding Gifu, Nagano, and Niigata prefectures. This is a renovated 120-year-old private house built in the traditional streets (Yamamachi-suji) of Takaoka City, Toyama Prefecture.It is located about a 10-minute walk from Takaoka Station, with good transport access to Toyama, Kanazawa, Amasaki Kaigan, Himi, Tonami, and Shiodoshi.If you have a car, you can also easily access Noto, the World Heritage Sites of Gokayama and Shirakawa-go, the Kurobe Tateyama Alpine Route, and sightseeing in Takayama. "Yoko's Inn Wakuwaku" is a "separate" inn adjacent to the creative home cooking restaurant "Wakuwaku", limited to one group per day. There is a private entrance. The first floor is a living space with a dining table, and the second floor is a bedroom. From the window, you can see the vast rural landscape and the Northern Alps Tateyama mountain range in the distance. Guests can optionally have breakfast, dinner, etc. (breakfast 1,000 yen, dinner from 2,000 yen. Please ask).
