Hello! We are Rob and Kate and we have poured our heart and soul into our guest house. Tucked away on the outskirts of sleepy Lympsham, enjoy the countryside around you whilst resting your legs after walking the renowned mendips. In Backwell, a 20-min drive from Bristol Airport, relax in the quiet garden room, a contemporary self-contained double bedroom with an ensuite wet room. Arrive to chocolate and a glass of wine, maybe on the terrace. There's juice, fruit and a cereal bar as well as tea or Dolce Gusto hot chocolate, cappucino or Americano. Please let me know of any allergies or intolerances. The Rising Sun is a short walk away and provides great food and drinks all day. Heaven Coffee House is very near too.

Bristol is easily reachable by train, bus, cycle path or car. Glastonbury, the Cotswolds and the beach are an easy drive. The Barn is down a quiet lane with village shops, pubs and the train station a 10 min walk. It is near public footpaths allowing you to explore the valley, walk, cycle and unwind.

The early 18C cottage is a part of our home but totally self contained. It retains many of the features of the time and is full of character. The two doubles are a good size and have wardrobes and shelving. Both have tea and coffee making facilities. The property enjoys two bathrooms; each close to the each of the bedrooms. There is a large lounge with a wood burning stove, ample seating, TV/DVD player and a piano. The large kitchen has a range, microwave cooker and dishwasher.

The village of Backwell is just 7 miles south west of Bristol, 15 mins by car, with excellent bus and train links. Whilst new to Airbnb it has been a 4 star holiday let since 2003.
