Located on the quiet shores of Lake Wakuike, Hotoriiya is a private rental inn that has been carefully renovated from an old private house. Limited to one group per day, you can relax to your heart's content without worrying about anyone else, as if you had your own villa. The inn is a two-story building, and you will use the first floor, which has 2 Western-style rooms with beds and 1 Japanese-style room with futons. It is also equipped with a kitchen, living room, and water facilities, making it perfect for a stay with family or friends. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath. Please note that in a natural environment, insects may occur indoors during your stay, as we are renovating an old villa. If you have an excessive allergy to insects, please refrain from booking.
