The shelter

Very cozy cottage in the center of Murat. Completely renovated, cute, well-equipped and ideally located, you'll love it! Winter: 10 minutes from the slopes of Lioran and Prat de Bouc, accessible by train or car. Snowshoeing, cross-country & downhill skiing, ice rink, truffade, aligot... The rest of the time: hundreds of hiking trails, legendary mountain passes to conquer by bike, zero mosquitoes, the most beautiful cows in the country, truffade, aligot... 🙂 Come on, it's going to be good!

Auvergne Holiday Cottage/Gite Sleeps 4

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.

If you are looking for calm, this is the ideal house at the foot of Puy Mary in the place called Louradou. at the start of various hikes, GR400, mountain biking, TRAIL, cross country skiing, snowshoeing. 15 km from Lioran ski resort (if road is clear). 15 minutes from the Jordanne Gorges, Lake Graves Grocery store, bakery, restaurant 1.5 km from the house. Aurillac 25 km away weekend or other rental, except July and August by the week.

House of character located in the heart of Murat, in the heart of the Cantal mountains; A real haven of peace. It offers access to all amenities and local shops: bakery, butcher shop, bar, restaurant, supermarket. The house is located 8 km from the Lioran resort (15 min by car with shuttle option) and 5 min from Murat train station. Linens are not provided. Possibility to rent linens and towels at extra cost. Pets not allowed.

Charming Auvergne house in the heart of the medieval city of Salers. Restored with exposed stones and beams, this pretty house consists of three levels, a kitchen on the ground floor, a floor with office, bedroom with two single beds, sleeping area with a double bed (isolated from other guests by a separation), bathroom and a modern basement with a bathroom with a walk-in shower as well as a laundry room. This house for 4 people and a baby is close to the highway but quiet and close to nature. From the parking lot, you have direct access to the private terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ. The interior layout is very spacious, clean, comfortable and stylish. The beds are made upon arrival, and bath sheets are at your disposal. We recently added a misting fan to make your stay comfortable in case of high heat!

Located 10 minutes from Lioran, skiing, hiking, waterfalls are nearby. Access can be by train (station 400 m away), or by car (A75 highway then N122).
