Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mount Waddington

Heather and her family gave us a great stay. The apartment is a home away from home. You can use the garden, have your own terrace, BBQ and gas stove. The restaurants and supermarkets are within walking distance. :) we would always come back

It's always great to stay at a property where the host obviously cares about the comfort of the guest. I can't think of one item that we needed but couldn't find. It was perfect for cooking meals, had a big yard for playing, and was super close to the beach. The beds and furniture were cozy for the rainy days and Barb and Erin went out of their way to put smiles on my daughters faces. We will definitely be back.

The bungalow was in a great location for our needs, it was spacious with 2 large bedrooms, 1 smaller bedroom, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. Full laundry room and access to the backyard deck with extra dining space. We had 2 small families staying there and had more than enough room and the house had everything we needed. When we asked if there was a kettle, they did say they will be sure to get one. Great experience, thanks Jeannette!

I can’t say enough how friendly and funny Denise and Don were throughout our stay. The property is absolutely stunning, and a real testament to Dons incredible wood working skills and Denise eye for details and art. If you want a warm, cosy beautiful stay, this is it. Everything was spotless from the bedding to the floors. Everything has even been hand built or brought for quality. Really nice touches throughout, from the very comfy bed to the excellent shower and every single beautiful hand crafted element. Just up the hill from the beautiful Telegraph Cove, perfect. Keep your cameras ready for bear friends! We missed them but it just shows how close to the wild locals the boat house lets you get. We can’t thank them both enough! Thank you for the great recommendation of the whale watching and the Alder Lake burger van! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Beautiful property , well maintained. Kitchen and bathrooms are well appointed. Great views from the deck. We loved sitting out at the table on the patio , and having the fire was great. Location is close to down town as well. How kept in constant communication with us too, and were easy to work with. Had a great stay and would come back to stay at this property if we are lucky enough to come back to Campbell River.

We had an amazing time here! Such a beautiful location! And Billy & Shelly made the most of the location with how they renovated the home to be the perfect AirBnB. There were also so many little touches & amenities that were greatly appreciated (treats, wine, plenty of coffee & tea, fishing gear, linens, etc). Everything was well stocked that you might need (not the barebones feeling like some other properties). Another cool thing that other hosts should take note of is their use of a tankless hot water system; more energy efficient while providing guests as much hot water as they need. (Don’t rent a place where only one guest can have a shower per evening. 😅)) They have obviously been guests elsewhere, because it shows in the way they host. Shelly was also very helpful & responsive with her communication. There were a couple minor (and unavoidable) maintenance things due to the weather that they immediately addressed (in under an hour). And then they gifted us a little tackle

Absolutely wonderful place to stay! They have everything you could possibly want. Almost need to stay more than 2 nights to be able to really enjoy everything available.

We were greeted personally upon arrival and the owner was immediately happy to help with any questions. Clean, spacious vacation home with great sea views, garden with private gas grill and fireplace, cozy seating inside and out. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, as well as washing machine and dryer in the bathroom. Quietly located, outside the village. It was perfect for us.

Brickwood cabin was a super comfortable and warm oasis in a most beautiful part of the world . Perfect for our family adventure exploring local wilderness. Highly recommended !

Great place right on the river. BBQ on the deck was just the perfect end to the day.

We had a marvellous stay at this beautifully appointed, cozy, bright and spacious cabin. An oasis for anyone wishing to unwind, re-energize, and explore the beauty of nature on Quadra Island. The views from the deck or inside are gorgeous over Quathiaski Cove and beyond; watch the ferries come and go and don't miss the sunsets! The cabin is equipped with all that you need, Melissa and Trevor have thought of everything and are wonderful hosts. Our first choice when we visit Quadra again!

My stay at the Boathouse was excellent. I enjoyed the private location on the beach with beautiful views of Heriot Bay and watching the tide roll in. The cabin was clean and well stocked - everything I needed to cook a delicious meal and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning (with different brewing options). Definitely recommend for a quiet weekend getaway solo or as a couple. Thank you!

Heidi's place is a true gem. Yes, her cabin is off grid and boat access only, but if you are fortunate enough to be able to access, You are one of the luck ones. I've been an Airbnb guest for over a decade and a host for 3 years and this may have ben my favourite Airbnb! In sum: the location is a dream, the cabin is perfect, the host is amazing and the price is right. We experienced terrible marine weather during our stay and not only was Heidi more than accommodating with our check in but even allowed us to stay on an additional day when it proved unsafe to boat out on our original check out day. They have an on site caretaker who will go out of her way to make your stay perfect and was also just so fun to chat to. But perhaps the best part: we saw dozens (literally many dozens) of humpbacks, orca and pacific white sided dolphins right from the gorgeous deck overlooking Blackfish Sound. We will most definitely be back!
