Guesthouse vacation rentals in Mount Tabor, Portland

Our family enjoyed our stay here, the cottage is a cosy, warm and safe space. Great location near everything we wanted to see / do in and around Portland. It’s clear how much care has gone into both the cottage and the small garden space. Ali also kindly allowed us a last-minute early check-in which we really appreciated! The family who own the cottage are lovely people with a gorgeous golden retriever, Addie. My 4-year-old son was especially happy here. I recommend for anyone who wants a quiet, family friendly space whilst visiting Portland.

Had an unexpected extra night in PDX, frantically searching for a nonexpensive stay when we came across this cute little unit right in a beautiful part of town. We booked, were able to get early check-in, and were already in the unit within an hour! You can tell Heather is an experienced host with crystal clear instructions, provided amenities, clean unit, and even provides you with a list of things to do in town! The washer/dryer is always a great touch. Thanks so much Heather for the hospitality!

Absolutely loved our stay! The space was incredibly cozy — felt like a home away from home. Everything clearly well cared for and the kitchen was fully stocked, which made us feel right at home. Highly recommend the cottage for anyone wanting a cute and cozy stay while in Portland!

Sari's place is in a very attractive and adorable neighborhood. Plenty of stores and food and bars to visit nearby and reasonably within walking distance to other neighborhoods as well. Sari's place was clean and comfortable and I will definitely be looking to stay here again!

I always stay at The LIghthouse when in Portland. It's cozy in a charming neighborhood and Dana is the perfect host, there when you need him and not when you don't.

This was an excellent Airbnb. The bed was super comfortable and I slept like a rock. A nice private place close to restaurants and a fun neighborhood. The host was super responsive and helpful.

Jen and her family were great hosts, we felt right at home and welcomed. They made sure to check in if we needed anything or answered our questions when we were curious about something . I would definitely recommend to others ! It was a beautiful stay and very quiet 10/10 .

Such a cute cottage with the perfect amenities. Mark was super welcoming and left us with free snacks, candy, drinks, and ice cream! For sure our favorite place we’ve stayed at, we just felt so welcome. The house had a private patio area, surround system for the TV and heated floors. Will be staying here next time we visit!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed. At one point we had to reach out to the hosts to fix something minor and they were super kind and responsive, and even left us a sweet little gift basket when we got back that evening. Location is fantastic and we would definitely stay again.

Great location with easy access no matter your preferred mode of transportation. Super quiet and restful space during my visit. Small space but well laid out, didn’t feel small at all!

The location is quiet and neighborly. Folks are out walking their dogs in the morning and evening and are friendly in the neighborhood. It is a peaceful street and easy to walk a block or two to catch a bus into nearby shops and restaurants. A close drive to downtown or an easy day trip to the Columbia Gorge, Coast, or Mt. Hood. Nice, clean, relaxing space. Hot tub is excellent and well-maintained, kitchen is stocked with quality gadgets and table settings. Hosts are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. But they do not expect/require extended in-person pleasantries upon arrival or departure or at any point throughout. They are available when needed, but mostly just gave us space to do our thing. In our case, we had a multi-day, large family gathering so solo decompression time at the Airbnb was much appreciated. Even got some work done over WiFi. It was also a nice spot to have a family member or two at a time over for lunch or a soak in the hot tub.

We had a wonderful time staying here for the week. Host was very responsive and checked in halfway through. Location is great also for public transportation, as it’s right by two bus stops. Also a beautiful rose garden directly across the street! Overall a great experience :)

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Christopher's casita over the long weekend in Portland. An unexpected issue came up during our trip, but Christopher handled it immediately with incredible responsiveness and professionalism. He even provided compensation for the inconvenience, which we truly appreciated. The casita itself was cozy, clean, welcoming, and extremely dog-friendly! Our pups felt just as at home as we did. My partner and I spent the majority of our weekend relaxing in the private hot tub. Christopher’s communication throughout the weekend was excellent, and we’ll definitely be looking to stay here again on our next visit. Highly recommend!

I rented this place for my daughter for her honeymoon. They said the bed was comfortable and the hot tub was in a garden like setting and very private.

This was a cute and cozy suite. Met all my needs. They were quick to respond to any and all questions. I would definitely stay here again.

We couldn’t have found a better place to stay in all of Portland than Ann’s beautiful and cozy guest house. Ann is a very responsive and attentive host who made sure to check in during our stay to see about making things more comfortable although we were more than comfortable already. You cannot beat the location and it also makes for beautiful walks with your dogs if you choose to bring them along. We hope to stay there again soon!

Sebastian's space was in a perfect location for parking the car all weekend and simply biking around. There are so many phenomenal restaurants to enjoy - Fantino (!!!), Yama Sushi, Spielman's Bagels - and so many things to do! The tree lined streets and the friendliness of everyone makes Portland or favorite city - this location was a perfect landing pad for exploration and restoration. I woke up with something wrong in my eye and Sébastien provided instant support and advice on what to do. You will hear the hilarious zoomies of a morning meow, but if you're a cat person, you'll wake up with a smile. We highly recommend the stay!

My partner and I had a great stay here while visiting family—conveniently located, walkable, quiet, and the home itself was gorgeous, comfy, and clean. One of the best airbnb stays we've had, and we'll certainly be back. Highly recommend!

Monica & Alex's Airbnb home was so amazing! The architecture and design of the home was just beautiful. It was calming just to be in the space. Heated floor bathroom, central AC, fully stocked kitchen. Comfortable and cozy. The garden outside was so relaxing to view from inside and out on the deck. Very intentionally set up for a great stay. Highly recommended next time you are visiting Portland :)

Laura’s guest house is the cutest, cleanest, most modern place. We’ve stayed in since we started using Airbnb’s years ago. Laura and her husband Joe are super hosts! The location is amazing. Close to everything! You can walk to Whole Foods, the Human Bean, another local coffee shop, and Fremont Street, which has amazing stores, restaurants. Try the Little Griddle on Fremont Street! Best breakfast brunch foods ever! We will definitely stay here again, as long as it’s available!

This is a really nice space both inside and out. Modern without feeling sterile or “trendy”. They really go all out with the quality of the sound system, bathroom (both toilet and shower are exceptional), climate control, and the general layout. We do wish the bed was a little wider, but overall this was an A+ space to stay in and we absolutely intend to come back.
