Newly Built Forest Retreat for Private Use | Crystal-Clear Stream & Barrel Sauna. Within a 30-minute drive of Gujo Hachiman and Gero Onsen!

A location surrounded by lush forests. On a spacious 3,000-tsubo (9,877-square-foot) property overlooking the pristine Mase River and its tributaries, a newly built structure that blends seamlessly with nature has been created. When you look up at the night sky, it is so full of stars that you can see the Milky Way with your naked eyes. Staying here with your loved ones and friends opens your five senses, soothes your mind and body, and brings new insights and ideas. In addition to summer fun in the river and winter fun in the snow, the Lithuanian barrel sauna and bathing in the spring right in front of the property are highly regarded as a “sauna experience from another dimension.” During the green season, there is an outdoor campfire (a teepee is set up depending on the season), and in winter, there is an indoor wood-burning stove. You can spend a profound moment chatting while gazing at the fire. One of the real charms of this place is gathering around the outdoor BBQ or hot pot. For those who want to escape from everyday life and reconnect with their true selves. We also encourage you to use these facilities for family trips, retreats, and corporate training.Opened in January 2026. We look forward to welcoming guests who will appreciate the atmosphere of this place that we have lovingly created. Kiso Valley, Nagano Prefecture | A quiet, privately rented accommodation built in 1931

Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was built in 1931 in this town, which has been selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings and still has lacquerware shops. Our house is available for rent as an entire house, limited to one group per day, without meals. It takes a little time to get around, and there is no supermarket or convenience store in this area, but I think that's why this place has a quietness and a casual, simple beauty to everyday life.It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in this old house in the valley of the mountains, so in the warm season, wildlife may come in.The 95-year-old building is not polished to a high shine down to the last detail. We are preparing to welcome you as clean as possible, but we would appreciate it if you could come with a big heart. We use the accommodation fees we receive from guests to repair the building, and I would like to start by taking care of this wonderful house for about 20 years so that it can be passed on to the next generation.

百 HAKU <100-year-old Quaint Japanese Style Villa>

HAKU is a Japanese Style Villa. You can enjoy your private time as in your home. “HAKU“ is one of the readings of the character “百” which means “hundred”. Medieval Haiku poet, Basho Matsuo likened eternal passage of time to "百代の過客", a permanent traveller. In his time, a hundred years was expressed as eternal. HAKU was originally built as a farmer’s shed about a hundred years ago. It was recently relocated and renovated for another hundred years. HAKU will welcome you as traveling companions.
