It is recommended not only for those who want to relax in Azumino and Ikeda-cho, but also as a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, for stays of one night or more. Currently, accommodation is available from June 29th to July 3rd, and this is the time when you can see many fireflies nearby. Would you like to enjoy the new greenery, BBQ, and sauna in quiet Shinshu before the summer vacation? Convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama-Kurobe. It can accommodate group trips, family trips, and stays of several nights to long-term stays. There is a laundry machine and a bathroom with a dryer for a comfortable extended stay. You can get here by public transportation, but having a car is more convenient in this area. If you come by train, there may not be a taxi, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Free pick up and drop off is available from Akeshi Station and Shinano-Matsukawa Station. Paid transfers to and from Matsumoto Station, Nagano Station, and Sawando Bus Terminal are available upon consultation.

Location Opened in May 2024. Located in the heart of Takayama's historic district, Makoto-ya Ojin is a stylish inn in 1-chome, Ojin-cho, Takayama City, where the good old Japanese landscape remains. In front of our house, which is sandwiched between the Hida-Buri Highway that connects the former Toyama and Takayama, there are the Nissho-bu Mingei Kan and the Yoshima residence, which are important cultural properties that show the rich cultural assets of Japan, and this area is designated as a preservation district for traditional buildings. You can enjoy the old town and beautiful scenery while experiencing historic buildings. It is a 2-minute walk to Miyagawa Morning Market and a 5-minute walk to Sakurayama Hachimangu Shrine, the site of the autumn Takayama Festival. The festival stall in this area is called Hōmeita, and it has a variety of decorations such as a palanquin and sculptures (1-minute walk to the stall). The 20-tatami living room has a sunken hearth (currently unavailable) and you can enjoy the old Japanese private house. There are 3 bedrooms, so you can stay with a large number of people, such as family and friends. No meals are provided. You are welcome to use the full kitchen freely. There is a backyard at the end of the dirt floor that continues from the entrance, and you can walk around freely. Hiking in the mountains and strolling around Lake Suwa are also recommended ways to spend your time. It's also great to explore the Suwa area on a rental bicycle.
