Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, which is blessed with forests, lakes, and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, and there are many natural places nearby such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, and Togakushi. The stairwell dining kitchen, the small rise of the relaxing space, and the upstairs bedroom space is also spacious. Bedding will be provided with 2 single beds (2 people), 1 double size futon (2 people), 1 single size futon (1 person), depending on the number of people booked. It may be a bit cramped for 5 adults, so we recommend a maximum of 5 people, including children. There are many ski areas within a 10-minute drive, and depending on the weather and mood, you can try a variety of ski slopes. It is a 30-minute drive to Kiyotsukyo and Daichi art festival areas, FUJIROCK and Dragondola. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)

Rest peacefully in the tatami mat room on Japanese futons lined with pillows. Parking is also available for up to 2 station wagon sized vehicles. In addition, due to the enforcement of the new Private Lodging Law (Residential Accommodation Business Law) on June 15, 2018, government agencies are required to fill in the list of guests, and foreigners who do not have an address in Japan are required to present their passports.Therefore, we ask for permission to fill in the guest list and present your passport and copy at the time of staying.We appreciate your understanding.

In the bathroom, you can enjoy a JAXSON jet bath, a large sauna for 4 people that can be used at the same time, and a rain shower in the bath. Please note that in a natural environment, insects may occur indoors during your stay, as we are renovating an old villa. If you have an excessive allergy to insects, please refrain from booking.

Capsule House-K, a monumental capsule house in nature designed by Kisho Kurokawa

CAPUSULE HOUSE-K is a private house designed by Kisho Kurokawa. It was created based on the concepts of Metabolism and Homo Mobius. This building is composed of the same capsules as the Chugin Capsule Tower Building, which is also a metabolism building, and was completed in 1973, the year after the building was completed. Until now, it has been open only to a few people and was a little-known building, but in 2019, the restoration was started by Kisho Kurokawa's son, and now it is open to the public with the interior of that time.
