Sugarmaple Lakehouse - Sebasticook Lake Newport ME

DanielleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great location. Woke up to the sounds of birds. very responsive. I would have given it a 5 star all the way, David was amazing and responded in a very timely manner. But, the turn over service could have been much better. The previous guest left a wine bottle in the automatic fridge ice dispenser and it was unfounded until my family found a large peice of glass in their drink, serious hazard to drink glass. Should have been spotted by the turn over service but, who would check the ice maker for a bottle a wine? I understand that. Very uncommon and unfortunate for us. David responded in a very fast manner and gave us options to accommodate the situation. I would have left a 5 star if this was the only thing but everything was so unorganized in the kitchen, they had everything but nothing made sense to why it was there. Sink didn't drain. There were also stains on the sheets and a pizza box left by the fridge that wasn't ours. Little things but the turn over service was a let down.

Great stay for our family of 5 adults and 3 toddlers! Lots to do and great proximity to Acadia/Bar Harbor. House was well supplied with clear instructions. Brady also connected with us before the stay and kept in touch for anything that came up as a concern. Thank you!

Steps from Acadia National Park

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
What a beautiful stay. It was my first time in the area and at Acadia NP and I’m so happy I chose Jackie’s place in Winter Harbor rather than the busy Bar Harbor side. It was so peaceful and quiet in the evenings. There were also walking distance hikes in Acadia NP. There is a ferry on the Winter Harbor side to take into Bar Harbor which was a lovely scenic trip and incredibly convenient. There is a delicious seafood restaurant right down the street that was walking distance from the house as well. Jackie was so responsive and a great host. I would 10/10 book again.

We were traveling up the east coast for 8 days with many stops along the way. This stay was by far the most like “home.” We were able to fully relax and enjoy the scenery! Beautiful home and very clean.

Introducing Beach Point Cottage! Walk Everywhere!

ClaudiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Logan’s home was just as described but better. It felt homey, comfortable sofa, large dining table, well stocked kitchen and the most comfy beds along with plush towels and great sheets. All you need is your belongings. Park your car and walk to everything. The home is on a quiet street but Great restaurants are just a short stroll away along Main Street and let’s not forget there’s Acadia National Park just around the corner. Great visit and will definitely return. Logan made our visit comfortable along with recommendations for restaurants and things to do. Thank you Logan!!

Green's Landing on Branch Lake

ColleenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful weekend with friends for my husband's 40th birthday. Friday afternoon was beautiful for grilling and then a fire by the lake at night. Saturday was chilly and rainy which made for a great opportunity to take full advantage of the garage with multiple rounds of poker, some ping pong, pool, and darts. We had some sun again on Sunday for some relaxing on the dock and down time enjoying the beautiful view before heading home. Everyone agreed that they'd love to return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Stunning - Newly Renovated Home⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Staying at Ty's place was lovely! Beautiful kitchen, plenty of space, easy to work the appliances and the TV. Really loved that shower, beautiful pressure, and location was glorious, very close to the famous Andre the seal, whose story is really worth a watch on youtube. Ty was communicative with loads of recs, and even lent us a kayak to go out on the nearby Lily pond, very characteristically full of lilies. Would absolutely stay again!

Park, Stay, & Stroll from Right in Downtown!

ChristopherRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Helen’s home in Bar Harbor is an incredible value on AirBnB. We loved being able to bring our 5 month old daughter and our dog to join us on our first family vacation together. Our favorite aspect was being so close to shops and restaurants but still feeling like we had peace and quiet when we needed it. We would absolutely book again with Helen.

Had a great weekend staying at Naomi’s Airbnb while visiting Acadia! The apartment has a very modern finish to it and has all the amenities you might need while spending a cozy weekend in nature. The drive to Acadia is close to an hour but the location of the property is quite peaceful and right next to a lake.

I couldn’t ask for another place to stay at for vacation, it was a nice neighborhood close to all the attractions nearby. Roger also gave us higher quality food and drink contents instead of the cheapest options. Welcoming us in full arms and asked if we ever needed anything. If I was to plan another trip to Maine I would wait and see if Roger’s AirBNB was available. Thank you Roger for the great stay!

Had a great time. The house was clean and orderly. We had easy access to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, they were only 30-40 minutes away. We also enjoyed the very short walk to the water front to enjoy the views and the cool breeze off the water we even saw a lobster boat one evening! Definitely would recommend and stay here again!

Camp Tranquility @ Rock Cove

CourtneyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
My family loved this house. The setting was beautiful, and it had tons to keep my kids entertained (kayaks, fishing poles, indoor and outdoor games). There was also ample coffee (always a plus!) and staples for cooking. We spent a lot of time at Acadia, but rearranged some afternoons to spend more time at the house because my kids enjoyed it so much. Highly recommend!

Lakefront Cottage on Tracy Pond, New Hampshire

KristynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Stayed at the twisted calico cottage for two nights, the property it’s on is beautiful!! It’s clear that Anna worked really hard on making the cottage adorable and accommodating! Wonderful host, beautiful view. I was very nervous bringing my elderly dog to travel for the first time since a major surgery, but Anna was kind and everything went well. I would recommend this to any couples who love quiet peaceful chill vacations, and older dogs that need minimal distractions from other dogs or people. Also was clean and stocked with basic necessities!

Robert was an amazing host! Super kind and helpful from the beginning till the end. The house was just perfect,so cozy, peaceful, and full of thoughtful little touches. Everything was exactly as described (maybe even better!). We felt at home the moment we walked in and didn’t even notice how fast 10 days flew by. It will always be a special memory for us. If you’re looking for a quiet, heartwarming place to relax, this is the one. Thank you so much, Robert!

Lakefront Stargazing Haven w/Loons, 35 Min Acadia

HeatherRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an amazing stay at Jason’s place despite a (mostly) rainy Memorial Day weekend! We still found plenty to do including inside the Airbnb, outside at the pond, and locally at all of the great restaurants/breweries/nature around. We also made it out to Acadia two of our days. I will say, the trip took longer than advertised (about an hour to get to the edge of the park), but was a pleasant enough ride. We also had our two dogs staying with us and we all felt right at home! Jason was a very responsive and helpful host as well - you can’t go wrong with this peaceful retreat on the pond!

Camp on private Beach / Bears Den / Graham Lake

I had a wonderful stay here! The inside is clean and cozy! Plus we enjoyed being able to cook over the fire and hang out by the lake. The location is private and peaceful. 35 minutes to the entrance of Acadia but depending on what part of the park you are headed to it can be up to an hour drive. I would stay again!
