Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Mount Dandenong

Chris and Grant's place was such a lovely base for the weekend! From the start, communication was clear and detailed. It was very easy to check in and to start a beautiful warm fire on arrival. We loved adventuring to some of the local sites with our dogs and coming back to a cosy home each night. The wildlife around the property was incredible, and watching the birds while you eat breakfast was awesome. Definitely can recommend this place to others either as a couples retreat or for your family. Thanks Chris and Grant!

I had booked this beautiful home for our wedding weekend. Shelly was super responsive and allowed us to check in early which was so appreciative. We also had our little dog with us (he was our ring bearer for the wedding) Shelly made it clear that the house wasn’t fully gated and I appreciated this. The place itself is gorgeous, beautiful clean rooms and decor and the greenery was so idyllic. I can’t wait to see my pre wedding photos that we took there as I think they’ll turn out beautiful! Thanks again Shelly, you were so responsive with my questions and so accommodating to our needs.

Debra’s place was comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything we needed for an enjoyable stay with our two small children. The beautiful surrounds were visible out all the windows and made for a relaxing stay. Debra was responsive and very accommodating. Would highly recommend!

Clean and tidy house. The main Bathroom was to die for, absolutely loved the bath and the master bedroom. The house is smaller than it looks and its a unit situated at the bottom of a pretty steep driveway on a very steep hill so not the best location for someone that has an injury or struggles with walking. Was advised after I booked that the owner did not want us using the driveway after 9pm because the front unit has a baby which is understandable but also inconvenient, it would of been nice to know this information prior to booking. There is also no side gate so anybody can walk around the house and into the backyard at their own leisure so that definitely raised some safety concerns. Overall, it was a nice stay.

My husband, myself and our 4 adult children stayed at Lavender Farm. When first arriving we were greeted by their friendly dogs. Jacky had made a delicious cake and fresh bread plus farm fresh eggs and bacon ready for breakfast the next morning. It made us feel right at home. The farm is beautiful as is the accommodation. Tony (the host) was very friendly and helpful. The town itself has everything you need. Healesville is a lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend Lavender Farm.

We had our wedding in warburton and it was such a pleasure staying in the tree tops with the visiting birds. The space accommodated us perfectly and Lizzie was a wonderfully responsive host. Would recommend. Thank you for having us ☺️

A perfect stay for our mixed family of older parents and siblings. Plenty of spaces to be together, or have our own time. Even before checking in, we were treated with kindness from the staff. Upon walking in, house was even better than we expected and definitely gives that ‘wow’ factor! Wish we could’ve been there even longer to really soak in the surroundings. The views are stunning and so peaceful. Main bedroom and ensuite was something else too! We felt a bit like royalty. What a great find! Beyond grateful & hope to return for a peaceful getaway with friends.

Overall a nice place to stay. Peter was super responsive and he replace the shampoo immediately when I told him it ran out.

There are so many positive things to say. I was torn between staying in the CBD or Southbank, and I definitely made the best choice. The apartment is almost right in front of the Yarra River, such a beautiful spot for walks. The whole area is so cozy and welcoming. The apartment was clean, with an incredibly comfortable bed. The sheets and duvet were hotel-quality, so soft to sleep in, and the same goes for the fluffy bath towels, plenty of them too. The shower had great pressure and was wonderfully hot, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The curtains in both the living room and bedroom were amazing. We even got to watch some ballet rehearsals from our balcony! John and his wife were very kind and polite. They gave us great local tips and even allowed us to check in earlier, as the apartment was ready ahead of time, which we really appreciated! The pool, hot jacuzzi, and sauna are definitely worth using, such a well-maintained space. Amazing hosts and an amazing place.

This house was absolutely gorgeous and we loved our stay! There was so much attention to detail in the place, it was so cosy, we didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be back.

It's so refreshing to have a host value hospitality like this one. We werenpleasntly suprised by the complimentary chocolates, Turkish delight, wine, home made bread and jams, to the most lovely couple ever. this was an amazing stay. The description and photos undersell it if anything. My partner and I were own our anniversary and we couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended 10/10

Magda was lovely from the start and provided clear instructions for check-in and suggested parking options nearby as well as we were driving all the way from Sydney. The place felt comfortable and cosy and will definitely recommend for couples looking to stay with pups.

Great location close to public transport, restaurants, cafes and shopping. Easy to navigate and in a nice area. Loved that it was also pet friendly and our pup enjoyed staying with us on our trip. The apartment was also very clean and tidy with 2 sets of keys provided making it easy and stress free when travelling with others

Selina’s Airbnb is hands down the best place I’ve stayed in Melbourne an absolute gem! From the moment I booked, communication was smooth, clear, and incredibly friendly. Selina was always quick to respond and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect for my stay. The space itself was immaculate spotless, fresh, and beautifully maintained. You can tell she puts a lot of thought and pride into every detail. The little touches made all the difference, from the soft linens to the well-equipped kitchen and cozy setup that made me feel instantly at home. What really stood out was how Selina went above and beyond. She anticipated things I didn’t even think to ask for, making the whole experience feel effortless and comfortable. It’s rare to come across someone who is not only a great host but also so genuinely kind and thoughtful. I’ve stayed in many places over the years, but this was next level, thankyou Selina, for creating such a welcoming and memorable experience!

Our stay with Karina was lovely, the house was just what this girl’s weekend needed. The gardens, grounds, veggie patch and chicken coop was absolutely delightful to wander through during early hours of the morning for breakfast, and late evening to pick dinner supplies. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Wonderful home and location. The house had everything you need and my two children and l really enjoyed playing table tennis, pool and fuse ball. The view from the balcony was spectacular with the added bonus of being able to wake up to the view from two of the bedrooms. We enjoyed the bbq facilities, nature walks and morning coffees on the balcony while swinging on the egg chair. A perfect place to connect and relax.

A lovely place to stay while exploring the Dandenong Ranges. Very comfortable bed and well equipped studio. We appreciated the Chrome cast and comfortable couch for some relaxation time. The studio is within a short driving distance to many of the areas attractions. We would definitely stay again!

Clare was an absolutely amazing host and her house is incredible! I stayed here with my family the weekend after my wedding and it was so special. Clare was so accomodating and had assured we had everything we needed- including setting up a cot, high chair and other items for my baby nephew. The house was pristine and felt cosy and welcoming. It was in a great location and had enough space for all of us (4 couples and a baby). The cinema room was an added bonus to watch the footy on! I will never forget the memories we made at your airbnb Clare, reminising on the wedding and teaching the family the wedding dances on the back porch, thank you!

Rustic, charming, intimate cabin nestled on a hobby farm made me feel down to earth again. Roaring fire, home-made cookies and easygoing owners welcomed us after exploring the very many dog-friendly trails and gardens in the area. Big thank you, just what we needed.

I really enjoyed my stay and really appreciated the quiet serenity and privacy offered at Botanica Retreat. The gardens are beautiful offering a very peaceful setting and was exactly what I needed for my break. It’s very close to the village, close to walking paths and has everything you need. It’s very homey, beautifully appointed furniture, linens, decor etc, and Karen offers some really nice touches to make it feel like home. Will definitely be back!
