We had an amazing stay! The location was absolutely stunning—peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The house was warm, inviting, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we all had a great sleep. Our host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process a breeze. We’d definitely recommend this place and would love to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. It is a very private location with beautiful natural surroundings, but also conveniently close to Healesville and surrounding wineries and attractions. I would highly recommend for couples looking for a quiet and romantic getaway in a beautiful location. The outdoor spa is a unique and special experience!

Our stay with Karina was lovely, the house was just what this girl’s weekend needed. The gardens, grounds, veggie patch and chicken coop was absolutely delightful to wander through during early hours of the morning for breakfast, and late evening to pick dinner supplies. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Fantastic venue. My partner and I booked this quiet getaway to celebrate new years. It had the peace and quiet we were after. The host was also very accommodating answering any questions we had. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a great and reaponsive host. 5/5 stars.

Absolutely lovely cottage, even better than the photos. Host also provided amenities and fresh bread which was such a treat, really cute get away for a short stay. Only thing to note is that the main road is close so you will hear cars driving past all night and windows face the public/ other guests.

Alans place is so beautiful, the views are amazing. Very peaceful place. The hospitality was amazing. The place is not far from the Olinda village with lots of store and restaurants with amazing food. I will definitely be coming back.

We had such a fantastic stay. The house is so thoughtfully pieced together and Tricia was such an accomodating host. Heater on got arrival, bottle of wine from the winery next door and offered flexibility with checking in and out. Fantastic property and host!

We had a fantastic stay at Shelly’s place! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt incredibly welcoming. Shelly was a wonderful host.. very accommodating to our requests, even when we let her know we’d be bringing two dogs. She even left out two bowls for them, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Her check-in instructions were clear and easy to follow, making everything seamless. We truly appreciated the care she put into every detail. The place looks exactly like the pictures. Highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting the area!

The cottage was comfy, well equipped, and spotless. Sue and Rob came by soon after we arrived and gave us a warm welcome. The peace and quiet was so relaxing, and the views fantastic.

Judith and Paul’s cottage was perfect for our stay in Healesville with our 15 month old son. The property was clean, tidy and had lots of amenities that were important to us as a young family, such as outlet covers, children’s toys, books and tableware. The back deck and gardens were stunning and provided a perfect spot to unwind. In terms of location the cottage is a short 6 minute drive to the Healesville sanctuary, and a short drive into town where there are lots of shops, cafes and parks. We can see why this property would be ideal if you have a dog! We will be recommending the property to our friends who like to travel with their pets.

We felt very welcomed when we arrived. The fire was already going for us, and it stayed warm all night — such a lovely touch! The owner was super nice and friendly. Cliff even brought us breakfast for the next day, which was so thoughtful, though we didn’t get the chance to enjoy it because we slept in a bit. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit. Thank you for making our trip truly special!

The place is exactly as described. It had beautiful picture window looking at the forest. Our toddler was super stoked with all the toys, kids bed and play area. It was close to shops and easy to get around. Overall, the house has clectic style and well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Magical Woods View. We had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay. From the moment we arrived, I was captivated by the magical view of the woods surrounding the property. The serene forest backdrop created a peaceful atmosphere that instantly put me at ease. The place itself is incredibly cozy and warm, making it feel like a true home away from home. Every corner of the space is thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort, with soft lighting, comfortable furnishings, and a welcoming ambiance that invites relaxation. It had everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Whether it was a fully stocked kitchen, plush bedding, or reliable Wi-Fi, no detail was overlooked. Overall, this homestay offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquility, and comfort.

My stay at Helen’s and Ed’s cottage far exceeded my expectations. The property is in a quiet idyllic location with a stunning view of the forest, and their beautiful animals. The cottage itself is perfect and it’s clear that serious consideration has gone into decking it out. Helen has preempted everything you might want and need, including a well stocked kitchen and pantry, some cheeky chocolates and extra deluxe blankets for warmth! The cottage is warm, inviting and very clean. Both Helen and are very responsive, lovely people and made sure I was extremely comfortable and taken care of. Ed even set me up with a fire outside which was very generous. As a dog lover I was thrilled with Millie and Jackaroo’s company as well, they are both sweethearts. If you’re looking for some time away in a quiet slice of heaven, this is your place. Thank you Helen for your recommendation of Flour Flower Bakery as well, it was fabulous! See you next time!

Perfect cosy weekend away. Felt right at home as soon as we arrived. Lovely warm fire, and lots of heating options to stay toasty! It was beautiful sitting in the kitchen looking out to the garden in the mornings. The beds were comfortable with nice bedding. Nice and close to town. Would recommend/stay here again.

Great place, we all would choose this place again for family get together. There is enough space for both adults and children. The garden was so peaceful with kookaburras visiting us every time we went into the garden.

Had a wonderful week at Willow Gum Cottage. A great central spot on Mornington Peninsular. Also a great spot to stay away from the hustle and bustle but within a close drive to everything. The cottage was cosy and homely beautiful and clean and had everything you could want and more. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Greg and Jane were fabulous hosts. We were left a lovely note and snacks on our arrival and of course there was the Alpacas Zeus and Rocketman to welcome us each day.

Dimitra’s place is a dream. We feel very fortunate that we could escape and spend a couple of days at her cottage in an ideal location. Very handy to not have to use a car. Beautiful space, extremely comfortable bed and amazing bath. Thanks for the extra touches of wine and chocolates on arrival. We loved our stay.
