Karaka studio is on the very edge of the Waimea Inlet with water twenty metres from your front door. Lie in bed and watch the tide come in. We are a private island (Manuka Island) but we have drive on access at all times, 25 minutes to Nelson and Motueka. Rabbit Island beach(4km) and Taste Nelson Cycle Trail is a km from our gate. We are central to vineyards, cafe, 3/4 hour to Abel Tasman National park. We have amazing sea, rural , and mountain views. Total privacy assured.

The 'Retreat': is a family run designer studio flat with access to a cottage garden, inviting you to sit out and relax in...seasonal honey from our own beehive. Tucked away and private at the foot the Grampians it's just 10 minute walk to the heart of Nelson city. Great spot for mountain bikers, trampers and workshop attenders. Cosy studio nestled snuggly behind our 1900s villa home. A 20 minute walk to the city centre. There is a park directly across the road. The studio contains a comfy queen size bed and ensuite bathroom. Essentials are provided. Our studio offers a comfortable base from where you can explore all Nelson Tasman has to offer. A 10 minute drive to the airport and beach and 5 minute walk to Nelson Hospital. We are in a suburban area.

Quiet and cosy Motueka

The master bedroom and en-suite in my home is set up as a private Airbnb room. It has its own car parking area, entrance door, and kitchenette. I live in the rest of the house. So its like staying in your own motel room but without that usual bland and touristy motel feeling.
