Our country house is in the Loire Valley, famous for it's Chateaux such as Amboise, Chaumont, Blois, Chenonceau or Chambord, all of which are a stone's throw. Originally from England I have lived in the area for 30 years and can help you enjoy your vacation without the language barrier. Cycle paths run along the Loire river - bikes can be rented in nearby Chaumont, or you can take a lazy boat trip down the river or hire canoes. Wine tasting of local Touraine wine is close by, as is Beauval Zoo.

Charming cottage in a unique, quiet location

The Cure gîte is a charming little gîte that can accommodate 2 people. It is located in the heart of the Loire Valley castles (Château de Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chaumont sur Loire, Amboise, Blois, Montpoupon...) and 23 km from Beauval Zoo. It is located in the village of Pontlevoy with a bakery open from 6:30 a.m. except on Wednesdays and a Carrefour Contact (8 a.m./8 p.m. except on Sundays 9 a.m./1 p.m.) nearby. It is a well-equipped cottage on the hosts' plot with a small private garden.

This loft is an open space with 2 small beds (80 x 190) in the living room and partially separated from the sleeping area where there is a large bed (160 x 200). Our 14th century house is located in the heart of Touraine, a region known for its castles and fine wines. The house is 180 m²: Ground floor with 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 160 x 200 cm and 2 single beds that can be pushed together), a kitchen, dining room, living room, 1 bathroom. 1st floor with 1 master suite (160 x 200 double bed), a bathroom and a charming small covered balcony. The garden is 600 m² and includes a private in-ground heated pool.
