Guest house in the heart of the Loire Valley

Our country house is in the Loire Valley, famous for it's Chateaux such as Amboise, Chaumont, Blois, Chenonceau or Chambord, all of which are a stone's throw. Originally from England I have lived in the area for 30 years and can help you enjoy your vacation without the language barrier. Cycle paths run along the Loire river - bikes can be rented in nearby Chaumont, or you can take a lazy boat trip down the river or hire canoes. Wine tasting of local Touraine wine is close by, as is Beauval Zoo.

Situé au milieu des vignes et en proximité des châteaux de la Loire, le Vieux Pressoir est un lieu de repos, de détente et de convivialité. Les producteurs locaux de vins, de fromages et de fruits et légumes sont présents. La Loire, les châteaux de Cheverny, Chambord et Blois, le golf de Cheverny (18 trous), le spa Caudalie sont situés entre 5 et 15 minutes du Vieux Pressoir. Le Zoo de Beauval est à 20 km. De nombreux circuits de marche et vélos sont accessibles à partir de la maison.

In the heart of a small village in Touraine, I welcome you to this charming country house completely renovated in 2019 with a quiet private garden facing the church. Ideally located 25 minutes from the famous Beauval Zoo and close to the major tourist sites of the Loire Valley, this farmhouse offers all the comforts for a pleasant stay. Bakery/convenience store within walking distance. The accommodation, located in a farmhouse as an extension of my home, is completely independent.

Cellettes is 34 km from Beauval Zoo ranked 4th most beautiful zoo in the world! You can also escape to the enchanting Loire Valley by taking advantage of the Loire Valley bike paths.

Ideally located (5 km from Amboise, 18 km from Chenonceau, 25 km from Tours), it will allow you to visit many castles of the Loire and many other places of high renown (Clos Lucé, Beauval Zoo or the majestic Château de Chambord).

The Secretariat

The house is inside our property but totally independent with access to the garden. It has a large south-facing terrace out of sight equipped with garden furniture.
