Originally from England I have lived in the area for 30 years and can help you enjoy your vacation without the language barrier. Cycle paths run along the Loire river - bikes can be rented in nearby Chaumont, or you can take a lazy boat trip down the river or hire canoes. Wine tasting of local Touraine wine is close by, as is Beauval Zoo.
