Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Moselle

Staying at Philippe’s place in Eisenschmitt felt like stepping into a Jane Austen novel—absolutely magical. The house is half of a beautifully preserved old building, with Philippe living in the other half. Every detail was chosen with care: a charming mix of antiques and modern touches, fresh flowers, and even a bottle of champagne to welcome us. Philippe was a wonderful host—present when needed, but always respectful of our privacy. The house sits next to a babbling creek, and it’s incredibly peaceful. We had access to half the yard, which our dog absolutely loved. Philippe is very dog-friendly—our dog had a big, comfy bed, a welcome treat, and plenty of space to run. We also really enjoyed the valley the village is set in—quiet and picturesque, with a beautiful hiking path leading to an old abbey and a lovely little bakery. It's also just a short drive to the Manderscheid castle or the nearby volcanic lakes (the Maare). A truly special place to relax and recharge.

The house is beautiful, inside and out. It has been renovated and furnished with a lot of love for detail. There is also a fantastic garden, with some places to sit outside. We really didn't miss anything here and we would have liked to just stay here.

Stephanie’s place is the prettiest and loveliest Airbnb we’ve stayed in to date. The pictures accurately represent how beautiful her home is. It’s incredibly homey, with all the touches that make it feel like you’re coming back to a home after a full day out. The view of the horse farm is so nice to observe while having breakfast in the mornings. And the backyard was lovely to have a beer in the afternoon while listening to the sounds of nature. The location was nice as it was away from the center of everything so we had a reprieve from the business of it all. It was a great location to explore so many towns in the Rhine. Stephanie’s recommendations were so helpful too (loved the winery/wine bar that’s just 5 min from the house!) I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this place. The natural lighting, the space, I could go on and on!

We had an extended weekend in the apartment of the Moselhahsen. The views of the castle and the Moselle were wonderful! Jessica was always available and gave very helpful information and tips. It was light, cheerful and beautiful.

It was a great vacation. I booked the place on very short notice (1 day before check-in). Communication with David was great and there were no problems. The house is beautifully restored. You immediately feel comfortable and have a great view from the balcony.

We really enjoyed the short break. The cottage was super renovated - old and new combined - great design and very cozy. We will be happy to come back.

It was a great weekend at Jay's place! There were six of us at Jay's Wellness country house and we lacked nothing. In the kitchen there is every electric device that you also have at home, as well as dishwasher, dish towels, etc. In the bathroom you will find the bathtub with hot tub, a large shower and towels of all sizes. Each bedroom has a large bed, partly with electric shutters and a variety of infusions are available for the sauna. Due to the various seating options outside under the awning, under the new pergola or directly by the pond, variety was guaranteed. In addition, there were 2 outdoor hammocks, which provided relaxation. Jay is a very likeable young host who responds to the wishes of her guests. The whole house is furnished with a lot of love for detail and there are even enough blankets available for cool evenings. We felt very comfortable with Jay, will definitely come back and say THANK YOU

Beautiful home with unique character. Perfect space for our family of 5 to spread out. Easy stroll into town. Would stay here again!

There were two of us (father + child) in the apartment and we felt like we were guests at Udo's. Everything was perfectly furnished, clean and cozy. Even breakfast is a highlight (highly recommended!). We were allowed to feed the alpacas and take selfies on the very first morning. Udo explained a lot to us about alpacas. The outdoor area with sauna and Jacuzzi in the winter garden are also simply great. From here, many exciting excursion destinations can be reached, the Hahnenbachtal right next door, Idar-Oberstein with its mineral museums and tunnels only half an hour away by car. Short distances to the forest, but you also have some meters of altitude to climb and descend. In any case, a double thumbs up 👍

Beautiful, very modern and totally clean accommodation. Everything you need is available. The surroundings are perfect as a starting point for any activities. Julia and Juri are super nice hosts. We will be happy to come back.

The apartment was great for excursions to the vineyards or to the Moselle. It was very cozy and quiet and you could relax well.

We stayed in Mosel for one night and this was the perfect location to explore this part of Mosel. The apartment was great, pictures matched the description and communication on point.

I had a great time at this beautiful place. Marion has really thought of everything in the decor, and the garden is just a dream! The surrounding area is very quiet. In Ober Kostenz, I was able to walk on different paths. By car, many circular hiking trails can be reached in 20-30 minutes. The Moselle is also not too far away. I felt very welcome and would come back anytime.

What a beautiful, quiet and clean place near the Little Venice neighborhood. Ophélia was a very welcoming host with lots of small touches for us in the apartment. A large parking lot which was a plus for us. I will recommend this apartment to my family and friends who want to come to Colmar.

The place was clean, very well organised and contains all amenities (except a washing machine). Franziska was very responsive and provided clear instructions and useful tips.

Very nice place to stay as shown in the pictures. Bathroom size is very nice. 2 balconies are also provided. The kitchen is well equipped so you could even cook something. Veronika was always quickly accessible and also gave perfect information on how to get there as well as possibilities on how to best get to the old town of Koblenz. We felt comfortable and would take this accommodation again. Thank you

We very much enjoyed our stay at Daniel's apartment. The apartment is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. Anything you need is present. The large, covered terrace with the great view makes it a super beautiful destination.

We were at the Rock am Ring festival over the Pentecost weekend and found a great place to stay at Myriam's. The old apartment has a lot of charm due to the high ceilings and the old wooden floor. The decor is stylish and we felt right at home. The only problem we had was that the shower curtain was unfortunately too short, so that water always ran out when showering. The second time, we tried to fix the process in a good position with hair clips. It was always a little cumbersome, but it wasn't that bad. In addition, the towels were very thin, which was not so comfortable when drying. Apart from that, the accommodation was perfect and communication with Myriam was impeccable! She was very friendly and helpful. We had a good time and were able to relax in a comfortable bed and return to the festival the next day rested. Will come again any time!

Our family of four, with two young girls, had an absolutely incredible stay at Jürgen's farm! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The girls completely fell in love with the family farm – it was such a unique and memorable experience for them. The Airbnb itself was really comfortable and truly had everything we could possibly want or need. The surrounding area is breathtakingly beautiful, and we quickly realized that four days just weren't enough to explore it all. We're already dreaming of our next visit! In a quiet location with great views, we found a very spacious, cozy AirBnB in that of Cathy and Laurent. Everything was tip-top in order. Good beds, nice kitchen where we could also make our own meals and a very spacious bathroom. Communication with the host went very smoothly and was very accessible. We had a nice week there and would love to come back.
