Monthly Rentals in Moorhaven

The house was a great place to spend a few days exploring the moor. Wendy was helpful and accommodating when i asked if i could store my bike there, and the option of a cute but lovely and hot bath was VERY welcome after a wet day cycling on the moor. The bed is epic, kitchen very well stocked with appliances, and all bits and bobs needed but no cooking ( edible) basics beyond salt and pepper. though i understand if people leaving random food stuffs behind could be annoying for owners. The nearby Coop and farm shop / deli is well stocked, and all car drivers just bring yr fav oils, spices, herbs, basics and condiments and stuff if you like cooking so you dont have to get the basics from scratch. Another very comfortable stay in Stable Cottage and a very warm welcome from the hosts. This well appointed cottage is beautifully clean and enjoys outdoor seating areas to enjoy the evening sun. We took full advantage of the local information in the new digital guest book and additional recommendations from Michael. A great stay.

We stayed from July 16 to 19. The house is immaculate and well presented. Furniture is beautiful with coffee, tea, suger provided along with cooking utensils and washing amenities. The entire house is superb. The price of stay per night is cheaper than a hotel. You get two beautiful bedrooms, an upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet with clothe washer and dryer. Modbury is a beautiful place with the coast a short drive away. I would like to say thank you to the host who provided such an easy service with no bother and I hope we left the house clean and we hope to be welcome to stay again. :)

Cosy cottage well positioned for walking on Dartmoor. Easy walk to local pub for supper and a few games of pool. One bedroom up steep ladder and above central living space so worth bearing in mind - worked fine for us. Warm cottage and nice hot water
