Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Montlouis-sur-Loire

We were only passing through for one night but the accommodation perfectly fulfilled its purpose. Very functional for the size. With access to the outside.

We had a great time at Celine's place. The children found what they were looking for among the toys and books. The house is very convenient and functional. We were able to enjoy the garden despite the heat thanks to the shade of the tree. All the amenities mentioned were there. Céline is very responsive to messages. The proximity to the center of Tours is an additional asset.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is in a beautiful location, the chickens, space and horses really made it very special for the children. The house is very well equipped and Odette was very responsive with any questions. As others have noted the beds are very comfortable which made for a restful and relaxing weekend.

We highly recommend the house. The kitchen is well equipped, the house is spacious and you feel comfortable. The garden is very shady, which was perfect in the heat. Unfortunately, the street noise is a bit annoying, the beautiful large trees unfortunately cannot completely reduce it. Still, it was a perfect place for us. William is also very friendly and helpful!

This beautiful cottage is out in the middle of the country with birdsong during the day and quiet nights. It’s still in between many major destinations in the Loire Valley. Central location with lots of good grocery stores and we made lots of our meals at the cottage. For those wanting to eat out there are lots of great restaurants within 30 minutes. The cottage was even cuter in person. The bed was firm but cozy. Bathroom was large with a great shower. You have a private patio overlooking beautiful fields, which we enjoyed in the afternoons and for watching sunsets. The pool is a shared space. When you are using it, you won’t see the hosts or feel intruded upon. They make use of it in the mornings and later in evening when you’re not using it. Karen is available for suggestions or to help you with your itinerary and she is a very nice person. You’ll enjoy this beautiful retreat!

Beautiful apartment in Esvres, within reasonable distance of the Loire castles. Very clean, well decorated and very well-equipped. We enjoyed the very peaceful outdoor space to relax, read or eat. A great stay.

Patrice and Christel are lovely hosts. Patrice showed us his old restored wood-burning oven, shared his passion for plants and his beginnings as a beekeeper. We were also able to taste the cherries. The house is as described. We were able to enjoy the private area of the garden overlooking the countryside. Perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet after visiting the Loire castles all day. We recommend it without hesitation.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival, no waiting, on the contrary, the hosts told us that we could take our time according to the time slot indicated. Very nice apartment and very clean. That was great! I recommend it.

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

Jean Philippe was wonderful. He met us and showed us the apartment and explained how to use all the items. The apartment is very quiet and is in a beautiful courtyard. The coffee machine gave us the best coffee so far on our trip. I really appreciate that Jean Philippe supplied us with lots of coffee. These little details make a huge difference. We loved the location. The bed and the bath were very nice, we really enjoyed our stay.

La Quintessence was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Amboise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need to use. Sophie is a great host, with a long list of great recommendations which made the weekend easy and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!

We had a great time at Stéphanie and Nicolas's. The apartment is cozy and quiet, great location for visiting Tours without needing to take the car. We were warmly welcomed by Nicolas who took the time to advise us on the different monuments to visit and the restaurants nearby. We would happily stay again and would definitely recommend Le Ouistiti!

Our family of 4 had a wonderful overnight stay here. Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Conny met us at the flat ahead of time and made sure we had everything we need. We loved having 2 bathrooms. Close to everything in Tours. Only suggestion is for a pillow and towel refresh. We would definitely stay here again!
