In the heart of the Loire Valley Castles and the Loire Valley by Bike, you can: - Visit the ZOO of BEAUVAL, 45 min away (Large South American aviary!) - Take bike rides (if you have your bikes, we will gladly keep them in the garage) or walk along the Loire or in the vineyards - Discover the Châteaux de la Loire (Amboise 10 min, Chenonceau 25 min, Chambord 1 hour, etc...) - Visit Tours 15 minutes away - Or simply do wine tastings a 5-min walk from the house.

The Rock House

Our house is very atypical because it is semi-troglodyte. There is a very common characteristic in troglodyte houses, it is humidity... it is due to the absorption of small amounts of water continuously. So you have to dehumidify the air and heat it all year round. There is a courtyard in front and a large private park on the heights to relax with a picnic table and deck chairs. The car can be parked nearby.

Gîte le grillon/quiet and rest

The Gîte is inside the property but totally independent. You have access to the garden. It has a south-facing terrace with no neighbors overlooking and another to the west, equipped with garden furniture. Guests can enjoy the swimming pool depending on the weather conditions. We provide linens: sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases and towels. You are in a cul-de-sac with no traffic. Great for resting!

The Philosopher's Alcove – historic center

This apartment located in the center of Amboise welcomes you on the ground floor of a historic monument, the birthplace of Louis Claude de St Martin. The vaulted, quiet room overlooks the small garden shared with the other apartments of the Maison du Philosophe and has a queen size bed. Free parking is available on Place Richelieu in front of the apartment.
