Had a wonderful stay with my son at this property. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and we felt right at home. Would definitely stay here again!

Several sheep are seen wandering along a cobblestone pathway in front of a stone building. The building features a vibrant blue door and a round feature on the wall. A hint of greenery is visible, adding a natural element to the serene scene.

Tuscan mountain home with a modern rustic feel.

BarbaraRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Airbnb asks you to write a review in few words. Mine is …….. Bellissimo Bellissimo, Bellissimo. But I can’t stop there. When you open the shutters of this beautiful home and all you can see are mountains, greenery and a church in the village, why would you go anywhere else to get away from it all? To other guests who are thinking about visiting Tuscany and having a taste of living in a small Italian village, with delicious food, walks with scenery to die for, then you cannot go wrong with booking this stunning location. Keith and Aisling make you feel so welcome and insist that it is your home for the time you are staying in this wonderful village in the mountains. Their home has a rustic charm and is spotlessly clean and so cosy. It’s also a great base to explore Lucca, Florence and Pisa. Don’t hesitate. Book it now if you are in need of some R&R and a place to re-charge and relax.
A charming hillside village is depicted, with colorful buildings nestled among lush greenery. A stack of logs is visible in the foreground, while the backdrop features rolling hills and a distant mountain range under a partly cloudy sky.

La Casetta

House in the center of the village of Montefegatesi. Heating with wood-burning stove for the ground floor and with electric heater on the first floor. Small but cared for to the smallest detail. I recommend it.

Villa Lina, Luxury Farmhouse with Pool and Amazing

BrookeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Villa Lina was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. The house was clean, had new and comfortable bedding, had plenty of space for our family, and the view was outstanding. The place is very private, high up on the hill, but with the instructions from our host we had no trouble finding it, even in the dark. The driveway is about 1/4 mile, steep, with parts of it gravel, and has several sharp turns, but we made it no problem with the small jeep we rented (without 4WD). Just take it slow. It is about a 15 minute drive back down to the town center of Lucca and the train station and 10 minutes to a grocery store. The back roads are very narrow until you get to a main road so use caution and we were lucky enough that others backed up for us when we met on the narrow spots. The view and seclusion were well worth the drive up for us. If you want an amazing view of the Tuscan countryside, but also a short drive to a neat town and a train station, Villa Lina is a great choice!

Luxury Tuscany Villa on the hill with private pool

EmmaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We booked this for a girls holiday and we had the best week. We didn’t hire a car, we walked to a few of neighbouring towns and got a taxi to Lucca, and a train to Florence one day. Neighbouring towns have small supermarkets and the walks to them were enjoyable, the scenery is truly incredible. Lucca is beautiful and has incredible markets, it’s a must see if you stay here. The villa itself is exactly as shown in the pictures, the pool area is gorgeous, we sat around the table every night for dinner, and when it’s dark there’s clusters of fireflies sparkling in the roses, it was magical. Stefania was great, very responsive and there if we needed her. We’d definitely recommend and book this villa again in the future!
A rustic wooden railing frames a garden area with potted red flowers. The view showcases rolling hills and a lush green landscape under a partly cloudy sky, evoking a sense of tranquility in the countryside.

Rustic, romantic barn in Tuscany

ChristianRating, 5 stars11 months ago
We enjoyed the stay very much. The accommodation was beautiful & well equipped, and the small village is quiet & beautiful. Lucca is definitely worth a day trip, and we booked a local cooking course nearby. The house is a bit hidden but nicely located. The steep pathway from the parking area to the house is easy to be taken for adults, but should not be underestimated for elderly people and small children.

Delightful Cottage on the Tuscan Apennines

MarcoRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Montefegatesi is a very well-kept town. Alessia's house is really well kept and the surrounding landscape is enchanting. It is an ideal accommodation for a retreat in the peace of nature. From Montefegatesi, there are several well-marked routes, even for non-experts. We'll be back!
