Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Monte Testaccio

Silvia was very responsive. She would always answer within a couple of minutes of sending a question. Gave great recommendations for food places. Her place was walkable to all of the places on our must see and do list. Great host highly recommend.

Great, quiet spot. In a funny spot between a major road (which you cannot hear) and the ancient aqueduct so you need to walk 5-10 mins for public transport or busy commercial area, otherwise great accomodation!

Traveling with 2 adult children with special needs is not easy in Italy it was a blessing to find Laura’s place at the last minute as the place we originally booked did not have an accessible entrance to the apartment. Laura was great host and so accommodating This area is nice safe and walkable as well Thank you Laura for accommodating us! We also enjoyed making our own Espresso

This place is situated a little far from Rome central but has very reasonable bus/tram connections so getting there isn’t too difficult. The apartment was clean and well described. A comfy bed with an AC unit nearby which is needed as it does get quite hot at night. Our hosts, although we didn’t meet them until the end, were so helpful, communicative and generous. We are not wine drinkers but a bottle was left for us with a note. This would be a nice touch for those after a long day of travelling. Overall a very good experience

Marina Place is the perfect spot to stay in Rome. Located in Trastevere – the best area for traditional Italian food and lively bars – you’re right in the heart of the city’s charm. The roof terrace was amazing and the perfect place to unwind in the evening. The apartment is cozy and well-located, making it easy to explore Rome. The hosts were excellent – always responsive and clear in their communication. If you’re looking for a comfortable stay with local flair, Marina Place is a great choice! I have stayed here before and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you

Great location next to train station and bus connections (not the metro). 10 min walk to St Peter’s and good access to all the other sites. Large, roomy, store right next door for groceries.

Casa Testaccio was one of the best stays I’ve had in Rome. Testaccio is a great neighborhood and away from the busy city center while having much to do within walking distance. The apartment was newly renovated and very nice and spacious. Camilla was the perfect hostess. She was accommodating to my early travel schedule and checked in with me during the stay to make sure everything was ok. I hope to stay at Casa Testaccio again!

Love how clean and new everything is in the apartment, but in the center of a historical and very cool area of Rome. Market is steps away and subway is a short walk. It was a much more enjoyable place to stay than in the center of the touristy area.

Great neighborhood. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, and has everything you would want.

The host was communicative, friendly, and responsive. When I arrived, everything was like in the pictures and it was a cozy and comfortable. Not to mention there were tons of restaurants around the area and in addition the host gave us a couple of recommendations. I definitely recommend this place when in Rome!

Stefano’s place is in a great neighbourhood with lots of great restaurants. Only 15 minutes walk from the subway (and regional train station) and 6 minutes from buses to get you to all the must see places. Stefano met us to check us in and showed us around the unit, and providing a list of recommended places to eat. The building is in an area with a gated courtyard and the accommodation was very spacious.

It is a quiet, peaceful and private place. It has everything you need for a short stay. Easy to get to Rome's most iconic places. Public transportation is very close

Celeste's accommodation is in a strategic location for those who need proximity to the Circus Maximus for special events (it was our case, that we stayed here for a concert at the Circus Maximus). The host's instructions and availability are of high quality and it took us about 4 minutes on foot to reach the Circus Maximus. Also convenient for parking, easy to find both on the road by paying the blue stripes, and for the presence of several garages in the area. Recommended!

Jochen was always very friendly and warm. She waited for us to welcome us and give us recommendations. Always attentive. The apartment was perfect for our stay. The Testaccio neighborhood seemed great and friendly very close to buses and with a lot of business. We had a wonderful time in Rome staying at Jochen's house. We would definitely go back. I had a perfect stay at this Airbnb in Rome! The apartment was beautifully styled with trendy decor and thoughtful modern touches throughout. Good stay helpful host

Giacomo’s place was nestled in a quiet neighbourhood near the river Tiber. We went for a couple of days and loved every day we spent there. The home is small & cozy, equipped with an AC (much needed during roman summers). We were greeted by Luisel who was very kind and responsive to our texts & requests always. We will definitely come back again.

Absolutely loved our stay! Felt right at home. There were so many thoughtful touches from free wine and snacks for us to enjoy, slippers, chocolates on the bedsides, and local food recommendations (which we tried most of them and confirm they were great!). Fabrizia and Antonio were amazing hosts, loved the personal touch of meeting them in person when checking in. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Rome.

We loved our stay in Marco’s place , beautiful view from the apartment & he was a wonderful host to us . He alerted us that the pope would be around and we got to see him . Beautiful apartment and very clean , had everything we needed , grocery store within walking and close to shops and restaurants. We wish we could have stayed longer .

Fantastic stay in Tommaso’s apartment! It was exactly what I hoped! Super spacious, clean, charming and in the cutest area. I absolutely loved my stay and I would book again next time I’m back in Rome. Tomasso was super helpful, a wonderful host and replied very fast. I can 100% recommend!
