It's a great house. To get there you have to go up a huge steep road, but Salvatore drives in front of you the first time. When you see the house on the outside, you don't expect how big and beautiful it is on the inside. It has a lovely roof terrace to sit in the evening. And around the corner is a castle ruin. The village has a bar and a very good restaurant with a beautiful terrace. In just under fifteen minutes by car, you are on the beach. And you are in the nature reserve in no time. We had a wonderful time.

Sonia and Paulo have invested so much time, energy and love into Villa Clelia. Together they have shaped it into a magical paradise where the weary traveller can relax in elegant comfort. No detail has been left untouched from the stylishly equipped and spacious accommodation with its al fresco dining patio to the splendid garden and pool area where majestic olive trees stand proud in a sea of closely cropped green lawn, and where aromatic jasmine cascades down the wall to the shimmering swimming pool, lit up like a film set with lanterns at night and blessed with birdsong by day. Sonia and Paulo are the world's perfect hosts. Charming, friendly, attentive and super helpful. They will guide you in whatever direction your interests lie, whether that be in the beautiful cultural and historical villages and towns in the area, the long uninterrupted beaches and bars of the coast, or hiking in the Aspromonte National Park. The local food is delightful whether you eat out or in. Heaven.

What a place!!! Totally stunning. We could have stayed so much longer but sadly it was booked up. We got up at 5.30am to drink tea and to watch the sun rise over the Ionian Sea from the infinity terrace outside our room. Breathtakingly beautiful place. Don’t miss Monica’s incredible terraced gardens, 🌸 full of butterflies and local fauna, lavender, grape vine clad pergolas, a big white mulberry tree, and an abundant herb bed. The atmosphere and views from here are equally exquisite. This is one of the most precious and perfect places we’ve ever stayed. Thank you again Monica, you have a magic touch and have created a little tranquil corner of paradise in Calabria. 🫶🏻 Breathtaking.

Antonimina was a pleasant discovery for us, it is completely regenerated: the chimes of the bell mark a slow time and now forgotten, the people of the country are extremely inclusive. Pietro, our host, seemed to have known him forever. The apartment is in a great location, complete with everything, you can sleep very well and there is really no need for the air conditioner, the fan is enough and advances and certain nights we also kept it off. We used the kitchen as it is functional and equipped with a fridge, stove, oven, cookware, plates and cutlery. A very small tip is to equip the kitchen with an initial kit of: salt, sugar, coffee and oil to maximize the comfort that is already very high. Me, my husband and Beatrice, our Golden Retriever have left a piece of heart there and will be back to repeat this wonderful experience. Thanks ❤️🥰!
