The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. We had the absolute pleasure of spending three unforgettable days at Paolo and Monica’s 800-year-old farmhouse — and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home itself is stunning: full of history, character, and comfort, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. Each morning, Paolo and Monica prepared a beautiful, fresh breakfast spread complete with homemade cakes and warm, delicious options that started our days off with so much care and joy. The hospitality was truly beyond compare — Paolo and Monica are salt-of-the-earth people with hearts of gold. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with the many animals they lovingly care for. From eagles and owls to donkeys, horses, peacocks, ducks, and sheep — it felt like something out of a storybook. Monica’s passion for rescuing and training animals is inspiring, and added such a special, personal touch to the experience. Thier home is filled with beauty, warmth, and heart. Wir hatten einen magischen Aufenthalt im Marrucheti 82 - einfach perfekt! Das Frühstück mit Frisch gepresstem Orangensaft, Cappucino, Foccacchia und Früchten ließ keine Wünsche offen. Abendessen kann man in köstlich in einem der vielen Restaurants in Grosseto (10' Autofahrt) Die absolute Ruhe, der Ausblick über die Schafherden und sanft rollenden toskanischen Hügel und der schöne Garten sorgte für pure Entspannung. Ein weiteres Highlight war auch die freistehende Badewanne im Zimmer. Die Küche haben wir nicht gross benutzt, sie ist jedoch voll ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht. Den malerischen Infiinity-Pool haben wir aufgrund des etwas durchzogenen Wetters nicht getestet. Das herzliche Team kümmerte sich liebevoll und voller engagement um uns. Klare Empfehlung für alle, die Genuss, Ruhe und Gastfreundschaft suchen!

Though I'm an artist and a writer, my imagination could never have conjured a home and a natural setting as breathtaking as Carmela's Tuscan retreat. Words fail me even now. The views of the rolling hills are unreal, especially at sunrise when mist hovers over the stone buildings of the village in the valley. The home is so lovely and comfortable--modern rustic in the best sense. It's quiet there; often there are no man-made sounds to break the spell. Carmela is a delight! She's warm and welcoming and may even bring you a treat or two during your stay. Day trips to charming nearby towns are easy; what's difficult is convincing yourself to leave the daybed on the terrace. Do yourself a favor and spend some time at Carmela's absolutely dreamy home in the hills.

Das Haus und die Lage sind einfach ein Traum! Herzlichen Dank, liebe Christine und lieber Christian, dass ihr uns diesen wunderschönen Ort zur Verfügung gestellt habt! Wir haben eine Woche mit unserer kleinen Tochter (2 Jahre) in diesem traumhaften Haus verbracht und jede Minute genossen. Die umliegenden Ausflugsziele sind fantastisch, und der grosse Garten lädt zum Entspannen und Verweilen ein. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Stephanie, unsere Kontaktperson vor Ort, hat uns herzlich empfangen, uns alles ausführlich erklärt und war jederzeit für Fragen erreichbar. Sie hatte auch tolle Tipps für Lebensmittelgeschäfte. Christine war mit ihrer Familie ebenfalls einige Tage vor Ort, und es war eine Freude, sie kennenzulernen. Es war spannend, mehr über die Geschichte des Hauses zu erfahren. Insgesamt waren wir rundum zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können dieses Ferienhaus nur wärmstens empfehlen! Vielen Dank für alles!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft sehr genossen! Der Ort und die Umgebung waren traumhaft schön – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Der Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich und herzlich, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Besonders der Ausblick vom Balkon war atemberaubend und der Whirlpool ein absolutes Highlight! Wir können diese Unterkunft auf jedenfall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder. 😊
