I can say enough about his beautiful Airbnb. My husband and I stayed for four nights, and Alistair and Maria were the most gracious hosts. From start to finish we felt welcomed and cared for, and the cottage itself - not to mention the grounds - was simply gorgeous. Nestled in the little town of Macciano, the cottage has great proximity to so many beautiful towns, attractions, and restaurants. We took multiple little day trips and were able to cover a lot of ground, and still be home in time for a dip in the pool and a glass of Prosecco with our charming hosts. Maria even offered to cook with me one night, and I had the opportunity to learn about the local fare, all lovingly made from scratch by Maria. This is a very, very special place filled with beauty and tranquility. We can't wait to go back!!

Antonella was a great host, very quick response to our questions, always had positive communication with us. Her house was an extraordinary house, this stone house and antique items from the 1800s were a very nice experience for us. The house was very nice and in a quiet location. Antonella had provided us with everything we needed, gave us a lot of activities and local advice, what we were able to do from what she recommended really pleased us very much, it was nice advice. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants to spend a quiet Tuscan holiday. If we go back here, Antonella's house will be our choice again.

The area is incredible, peaceful and the view spectacular. Asciano has the delightful charm of an Italian village. The people were friendly and welcoming. Even got greeted by their local police who offered up their number in case we needed anything. I felt safe, and it felt as if I lived there for years. I’d say this is a piece of heaven on earth. Our stay with Sheila and Silvia was fantastic! They were terrific hosts, and the property exceeded our expectations with its beauty and impeccable cleanliness. We opted for extra meals and a cooking class, and everything was outstanding. Silvia is an incredible chef, and the dinners she prepared were some of our best meals during our trip to Italy. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything needed for cooking. The property offers stunning views, nestled in the hills about a 20-25 minute drive from Cortona via scenic, winding roads, so having a car is essential. There’s so much to explore within a 30-minute to 2-hour drive, from lakeside towns and wine tastings to thermal baths, spas, charming medieval villages, and plenty of Michelin-starred restaurants. I highly recommend booking here for a relaxing, delicious, and comfortable getaway.

Beautiful property and house, minutes from Cortona. Arranged on 2 floors with separate entrance and two kitchens that we did not use. Large garden and pool. The area is out of traffic and quiet, but close to a farmhouse that organizes dinners until late. The rooms are simple and spacious, with closets. Michele was very friendly and cordial and was flexible with our arrival times.

Wow!! The home is beyond beautiful and extremely tasteful decorated. From the upstairs bedroom, the view is incredible. My family loved every aspect of the home and we enjoyed spending time together in the spacious living room. It is in the heart of Cortona, so we were able walk everywhere. Special thanks to Marialena, as she ensured we had everything we needed and helped us arrange rides from and to the train station. We can’t wait to return to stay here again!

Lorenzas villa is the perfect escape to Cortona. Set in the valley, its long, picturesque driveway leads you to a charming estate that is as fabulous as you’d imagine. Simplicity abounds in this Tuscan haven, complete with all you’d need for an extended stay such as mine. This is my second time renting the home for over a month and it will give you all the peaceful tranquility and zen vibes you may ever need. Close to Cortona for fantastic restaurant and sightseeing as well as local grocery stores to stock the home for your stay. To note: I his farmhouse has been in her family for generations and is delicate and simple, treat it with love as it holds so many special memories that exude from its walls. The farmhouse is located on the second story as the first story has not been renovated and remains locked. I hope to return again to finish my book. Thank you!
