House vacation rentals in Montagu

We had a lovely weekend in Mcgregor what a beautiful house it had everything we needed and it was spacious, the pool was great to have to beat the summer heat. The kitchen has everything you need for a braai and plenty of seating areas to sit back and relax both inside and out. Would highly recommend.

We had an enjoyable couple of nights here . A lovely property with the added bonus of alpacas and springbok . The restaurant on site should by tried by all who stay - serving superb food and wine . A good location for exploring the area too . The best views you can imagine from the master bedroom . Give it a try !

Our stay was wonderful! The home is beautiful and we enjoyed it so much! Bouwien was a great host with clear communication and always responsive. we would recommend this home to anyone visiting the beautiful town of Montagu.

A fabulous spot with everything one needs. Close to the nature reserve and the beautiful walks. Enjoyed our stay and definitely planning a trip back to Greyton!

Beautiful garden & peaceful home, with loads of space & cosy

This place magical and beyond what is seen in pictures! The attention to the very little details was amazing! Super peaceful place and highly recommended for anyone likes to get out of the city life and relax. The host was also super helpful and informed us of all that we needed to know before and during our stay . Thanks for giving us the opportunity to rent this place we’ll definitely come back whenever we’re back in South Africa

A nice place to stay in a lovely town. We arrived in the rain, so walking wasn't a great option, but a short drive to restaurants. We struggled a bit with the directions to get in but Alida arrived within minutes to help us out. Wine was appreciated after a long days drive.

What a beautiful spot! The view is exquisite, it is very quiet and private. So peaceful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Unit is comfortable and we utilised the much needed indoor fireplace. The kitchen has pretty much all you need to make meals. The one bathroom only has a bath, so bear that in mind if you are sharing with others. A magic spot in an awesome location! Susanna was very responsive to requests. We had a wonderful time. Thanks Susanna!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home in Robertson! The house is spacious, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights, and the gardens were absolutely stunning – a peaceful setting to enjoy morning coffee or a morning stroll. The highlight for us was definitely the pool – clean, inviting, and perfect for both kids and adults to enjoy. We truly felt at home and can’t wait to come back!.

We absolutely loved spending a night at the pepper tree, Amanda was so welcoming and sweet. The place was incredible and felt super homey while also feeling like you’re in a hotel. Everything was clean and we especially enjoyed eating lunch and breakfast on the beautiful patio overlooking the garden. Definitely will be back to stay!

Such a lovely place. Great location, right next door to a restaurant but tucked far back enough to be peaceful. exceptionally beautiful garden too. And McGregor is a really charming town

This was our second stay at Angelique’s and we will be back. The location is perfect and we caught loads of fish this holiday. Highly recommend this spot!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful—spacious, clean, and instantly felt like home. It’s in a fantastic location, just a short walk to the water with a perfect jetty. We rented a boat and had so much fun exploring the area. Communication with Madi was excellent—she was super helpful and even arranged for wood to be delivered for us. The neighbours were lovely too, which just added to the warm and welcoming vibe. Highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back!

A charming house that is set in a beautiful little town, made the most lovely countryside retreat. We had a wonderful time and the dogs adored the large garden too. Thank you for your hospitality!

What a wonderful weekend. It was a hot weekend in Robertson but the Halfway House always felt cool inside. We really enjoyed staying there, everything was perfect. My husband could enjoy playing golf and I enjoyed my time relaxing next to the pool. Will definitely go back again!

Rex was a friendly, kind host and their cottage is surrounded by mountains and bird life. We only stayed 1 night en route to Cape Town and ate out for dinner so didn’t use the facilities much but the plunge pool and patio must be very welcoming on hot days!

Stayed for two nights at Cooper House with another family. Lovely! The kids loved the outdoor spaces. Can recommend Erna‘s place in Montagu ;)

Beautiful quiet surrounding for a true “step of the treadmill” type break.

We had an amazing stay at Gordon’s place in MacGregor. The house is fully equipped with everything that you would need, making it feel like a real home away from home. The house was spotless, and the linen and beds so comfortable. The fireplace was the real treat, and we had a great time over a few bottles of wine. The nature reserve is a short walk from the property, and was a beautiful place to take our dogs. The scenery is gorgeous and peaceful, the entire stay was amazing. Gordon is a superb host, super friendly and helpful, and quick to respond to every message. We will definitely be back in Summer to enjoy the pool. We highly recommend Gordon’s house for an incredible break away just a short drive from Cape Town. Thanks Gordon for your hospitality.

Die Uilhuisie is a little bit of heaven. We wanted to escape the busy-ness of the city, and we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, which is just what we wanted. With the local Nguni herd popping in a few times daily to stay hello, to beautiful birdsong, to views for days, and lovely walks and the labyrinth, and just general stoep-sitting, we felt totally recharged after a weekend and didn't want to leave. There are multiple lovely wine farms, restaurants and quaint towns on your doorstep too, what more could you ask for. Although you could we could've happily just stayed cocooned in nature at the cottage the whole time too. We loved the solar powered comfortable cottage and made full use of the geselsvuur, braai, and romantic candles and oil lamps in the evening. The massive bathroom is divine, and showering with an Nguni peering at you quite something. And thank you for the delicious koeksisters and Nespresso machine!! We will definitely return.

What an incredible stay! Highly recommended and the house is perfect for families with children. Every part of our stay was perfect and Robyn was a fantastic host. Grant was a gem during our stay and we will be back. Thanks Robyn for a memorable week.

Our stay in Greyton was very comfortable and we enjoyed having a fire place (wood was provided by the host) as it was a wet and rainy weekend. The kitchen is spacious and it was a luxury to have a dishwasher! My daughter is a bookworm and she just loved sitting on the couch by the bay window, fire going and reading. It is quiet, peaceful and good for the soul.
