Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Monarch Pass

You cannot get any more ski in/ski out than this condo. Literally steps away from the back deck to Peachtree Lift! It was the perfect location for us to come in for a quick lunch and get right back out on the slopes. The upstairs neighbors were noisy at times (mainly squeaky floors and someone—probably kids—stomping/jumping), but the location and views are incredible. The view of Mt. Crested Butte is stunning, especially later in the day. The condo was also well stocked with basic supplies. We will definitely try to book again when coming back to Crested Butte.

My wife and I (+family) have rented thru AirBnB numerous times. This was, perhaps, the best experience. Both Richard and his wife were SO NICE and we never felt we were imposing on them even though we had a ton of questions about the area. And they knew everyone and every place we'd like to visit. They were especially sweet with our three children. We already looked later this summer to book again, but they were reserved already. Darn it! Some notes: 1. Cabin was very personalized in its design/construction (not by Richard), some might say funky. But it was what we were looking for...very functional, aesthetically pleasing, fun for the kids, and safe. 2. The area is really beautiful with many interesting hikes and places to visit. Even some nice restaurants despite being out in the boonies. 3. Quiet surroundings. No party/boozing neighbors. Very little traffic on the access road. Yet there were enough folks around to not feel isolated. Ten of a cabin/visit!

The free bus service that runs between Gunnison, Crested Butte and Crested Butte Mountain was very convenient. The Cliff House is a short walk from the bus station in Crested Butte South. The Cliff House has great views and is in a quite location.

The fam and I spent a wonderful spring break ski week here and loved it. Condo is beautiful and the perfect size for the three of us. Super clean and well-maintained. Ski lifts are less than 10 minutes walk and that includes a stop at the ski valet downstairs. Pool, hot tub and fitness center are all right there, too. Had a few questions for the host during our stay and answers came in minutes. We will definitely be booking this property again in the summer!

Jacqueline was the best Airbnb host we’ve ever had!! She reached out a week prior to our arrival and asked if we had any questions…I asked if there was a crock pot in the house. There wasn’t so, she ordered one which was delivered the day we arrived. The day before we arrived, she offered early check-in without me asking. Very nice touch, as she knew we drove overnight from Dallas. The house is amazing; immaculate and well appointed throughout. There are multiple living/sleeping areas for privacy…depending on the makeup of your party. I’ve got to mention the bedding….VERY high-end and comfortable!! We’ve been to Crested Butte before and will visit again. No matter if skiing or visiting in the summer, I’ll stay at Jacqueline’s home again!!

Gorgeous house, plenty of beds, cozy and warm. The bunk bed mattresses are exquisite - best sleep of my life, so soft. The Fast Tracks shuttle service was excellent!! Utilize that and the town buses, they’re very quick and effective! Future renters please note - the driveway is fairly short - only about 2 cars can fit comfortably, plus 1 in the garage. CB tickets aggressively for any undesignated parking, so be sure to carpool and respect the rules of the community :)

Scott was a great host! He was quick to respond the day of our check in and gave us all of the useful information we needed! The place was clean and so close to the lifts that we couldn’t have wanted a better spot to celebrate mine and my fiancées proposal trip! 10/10!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb condo in Crested Butte! The place was spotless upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the ski lift, which made getting on the slopes effortless. The owner was fantastic with communication, responding quickly and providing helpful tips for our stay. We highly recommend this condo and can’t wait to return!

What a special home! Such a beautifully designed, appointed, and finished home. Everything is so nice and solid. The view is amazing. Rex & Kathleen are wonderful hosts. It made for such a special trip to Created Butte and honestly it was such a great spot that we spent more time just hanging at the house enjoying it than we had planned :) Would recommend to anyone looking for a very nice and comfortable place to stay while in CB. Location was great! All we had to do was walk to the end of the parking lot, put our skis on, and ski down to the lift. The place was cozy and perfect for our group’s ski weekend. Would definitely return!

Location is as close to the lift as you can get. We had some issues and were solved by the host upon request.

We enjoyed the condo in February and were blessed to get 30” of snow! The grounds crew kept stairs and walk ways clear and the skiing couldn’t have been better. The ski locker makes this so convenient. Just put your snowy skis away in the locker a few yards from the lift and then bundle into a robe and enjoy the hot tub! We loved everything about the condo even the linens on the bed we soft and comfortable with lots of extra pillows!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. The views of the mountain were absolutely stunning and we really enjoyed our time sitting on the patio in the late afternoon looking over the ski runs and mountain skyline. The kitchen was well equipped, the living area stylish and comfortable. The bathrooms were great and the beds comfortable after a long day on the mountain. The indoor parking and elevator were super convenient and made checking in and checking out really easy. Our host Greg was proactive and checked in on us mid stay to make sure we were all settled and had everything we needed. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend this condo to anyone considering a visit to beautiful Crested Butte. Thank you Greg!

We moved our stay here! They has special blankets to use if we wanted our dog to get in the sofa and bed and was such a peaceful place for us to stay with our dog. Private with a patio with an incredible view. Comfy bed and everything with SO clean. I’ll be back!

Erica was an amazing host. We have camped in the area before and saw this cabin for rent. It was perfect. So secluded and off grid but still has all of the necessities. We enjoyed being out and about all day and returning in the evening to cook a hot meal with a fire in the fireplace. Beds were SO COMFORTABLE! We can’t wait to visit again!

Wow, what a perfect in-town cabin! Our host has created a truly remarkable experience in you want privacy, hospitality, and that all important warm-cozy feel of the mountains. We went in off-season and, while the town was understandably quiet, spending time in the home was the highlight. The host was also incredibly responsive to ensure we were taken care of. Bonus points for having common kitchen conveniences like spices, coffee, and tin foil (to name a few). Would definitely recommend!

If you are looking for seclusion with comfort, this is a perfect place for you. Wayne was an exceptional host and his property was wonderful to explore. My husband and I decided to just stay on property and hiked around to see the beauty of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You can do a challenging hike or smaller hikes. You will need 4WD, but the adventure is worth it! It was an off the grid, great glamping experience with a sound of a relaxing creek! Thanks Wayne!

A delightful cozy rustic cabin full of love light and joy! Super comfortable bed, cozy couch lovely relaxing lazyboy and a quaint well stocked kitchen. It feels so much like my beloved grammys home with the soft carpet the darling nick-nacks the antique furniture, and a perfect clean bathroom and even a washer and dryer. Its just super sweet this place felt right at home easy to relax.

Our stay at Aspen Acres Chalet was nothing short of perfect! The home was incredibly clean, beautifully decorated, and had a calm, peaceful vibe that made it feel like a true mountain retreat. The long-range views were breathtaking—we spent so much time just soaking them in from the deck. The upstairs loft was a favorite for our kids—it was cozy, fun, and gave them their own little adventure space. The whole house was thoughtfully designed and super comfortable. The host was amazing—very responsive, kind, and made us feel right at home. We were greeted with a lovely welcome gift, which was such a thoughtful touch and really set the tone for our stay. There’s still so much more we want to explore in the area, so we’re already planning to come back next year.
