Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Mogale City

It was my daughter’s 18th birthday, she traveled to SA with her friends and they loved it 😍

I had a lovely stay at Lauren's home. As other reviewers have noted, it is such a peaceful, warm place in the middle of the city, with easy uber/car access to everything that you need (I rarely waited more than 2-3 minutes for an uber). The garden area is so peaceful, the home is very well equipped, and Lauren is very responsive and helpful.

the place was amazing, the whole family loved it especially the kids and the pool. The location was perfect and secure we felt very safe and had peace of mind. Will definitely be going back again. Chad was an awesome host and very patient and quick to respond which made everything so much easier

We had a lovely time at Sigrid's place. We did struggle a bit to find it (in the dark), and we were warned about arriving after dark, but still felt that there were some key turns where signage could've been helpful. Apart from that, it is a great place to stay, spacious, neat, clean, and private, in a beautiful natural setting. The fireplace outside is also great. We will go back whenever there is another opportunity.

Great place, it was inviting and quite homely. The garden is plush and everything just works perfectly. Thank you to Ben and Co for a good stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a fab time.

We had a fantastic stay at this Lembah Kali over the weekend! Maureen and Henri gave us a warm welcome, which made us feel right at home from the start. It was such a pleasure meeting Jen—she shared some of the history of the place, which made the experience even more special. Jen was incredibly helpful and just wonderful all around. The property had everything we needed—well-stocked and thoughtfully set up—so all we had to bring were our personal items and food. The atmosphere was amazing, peaceful, and welcoming, and the place itself is just beautiful. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-cared-for getaway. Thank you once again Jen and Sheila for Making this trip a memorable one for the team! We will be back!

As advertised, this is indeed an oasis in busy Johannesburg! The directions were very clear, location was easy to find, and check in was easy. The space itself is lovely - spacious, very clean, and extremely well-equipped. Little details like lovely shampoo, conditioner, and soap and the kitchen being pre-stocked with coffee, eggs, butter, milk, and all sorts of spices for cooking made us feel right at home. This is one of the best AirBNBs I've been to from an attention to detail perspective. The garden is also lovely, and the cottage is very private and secure. The location is fantastic - close to everything from Sandton to Parkhurst to Zoo Lake. Liza was proactive and friendly with communication, and has really put the time into making sure that we were safe and comfortable.

What a gem!! We are a group of business people from London, UK who get away once a year to a nice place to relax, learn and recreate together. We had never been to Johannesburg, proper and especially not to Sandton. The house was very clean & was perfect for us. Large and spacious with a beautiful pool, steaming hot tub and yard in the back. The whole place is made for entertaining. The area is lush and didn't feel urban even though it is surrounded by other nice homes. What a special home. I only hope this home is available to rent out again in the future. We want to go there every time we visit Johannesburg 🙂❤️

First time trying out airBnB in Joburg. The first thing that caught my attention was the hygiene of the room. It was very clean. The place is very safe and very quiet. It looks exactly like on the picture. The hosts are also very helpful and friendly.

As I had said, I wish this was a 3 bedroom apartment. It’s everything and more. The gym is very well equipped and the pool pristine. Security is top call and 6 mins away from Rosebank Mall.

What can I say about this place, heaven! I needed a room that will give me a bit of luxury and also space and Uwas place was just that. From the well design flat to clean house with all I needed. Added with a touch of luxury, it’s the place I would go to over and over again.

The place was so neat and beautiful, it was home away from home. I wished to extend my stay while i was there. The host was also helpful and proactive. Never struggled to get anything i wanted.

Paul's place was cozy, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood felt safe. Easy uber ride to most things. Paul was communicative and responsive. We had a very nice stay.

I can't fault this accommodation in any way. My husband and I have booked Annemarie's place twice now, and it's become our go-to choice for Pretoria stays. Also, I appreciate how responsive and kind Annemarie is - she's a wonderful host!

I stayed in Unit 3 on this beautiful property and really enjoyed my stay. A lovely view greets you from a superbly appointed apartment. Top quality appliances and all the facilities you could need including a washer dryer. The bathroom is lovely , the bed is comfortable and the balcony steals the show. I really enjoyed my 3 days there. I would note thought that access to Unit 3 requires walking along a narrow path with some natural rock steps through Charles ,frankly, spectacular garden. If mobility is an issue, ask for unit 1 or 2. Great find . Thank you .

Amazing unit with incredible views...

Elize was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and easy. The surroundings were so peaceful and relaxing, perfect for anyone needing a break from the hustle and bustle. I especially loved waking up to the quiet mornings and enjoying the calm atmosphere throughout my stay. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. It’s well-maintained, thoughtfully equipped, and you can tell the host really cares about creating a great guest experience. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a restful getaway with a kind and attentive host. I’m already looking forward to coming back.

Really beautiful place and friendly staff. Very peaceful location

Very nice accommodation in a peaceful location, close to the river! Kitchen quite well equipped for cooking and a braai area just in front. The Utopia facilities - around a 15 minute walk from the accommodation (or you can easily drive there and park) - including two large pools and putt putt are also very nice. Worth noting that the two bedrooms upstairs are separated only by a curtain (no door) which wasn’t a problem for us (a couple) however might be an issue if you are with a larger family/group. Also might not be the best choice if you are scared of snakes! We encountered a spitting cobra just in front of the chalet, next to our parked car, which moved into the bush once it saw us.

This place is so peaceful, if you are looking for a serene place to relax, out of the city and connect with nature this is the place to be. Anita is such an impeccable host, she constantly checks up on you and is big on communication . The unit has all the necessities you might need during your stay and it's one of the most beautiful in the premises situated close to the flowing river. I will definitely be coming back, we enjoyed ourselves.

The price might be a little steep, we still had a great time!
