Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Remember sleeping bag+pillowcase, bed sheets are in the cabin. *Road fee NOK 50,- *Remember drinking water! Dishwashing water is available in the cabin *storm kitchen/portable *Outhouse

In winter we recommend to bring your own duvet or sleeping bag as there are only summer duvets in the cabin! If you pay a fishing license in the barrier, you have access to fishing in all waters! Possibility of kilos fish in forest waters around. Holleia offers amazing hikes for those who want to walk short and far. Skiing opportunities right outside the cabin when there is enough snow! Peaceful space for recreation

The road meanders for 5 km up through the woods to a small tuna. The tun is made up of 3 old and newly restored log cabins and the place has a unique view. The tuna is off-grid, but electricity via solar cells and running summer water. Here is quiet and nature is close. If you drive quietly upwards you can see both moose, cattle, hare and other wildlife. Here, life goes at a slow pace where the weather sets the conditions for the day's to-do. Hiking area and recreation. A perfect place for those who want to get away from the world. Outhouse.

Cozy garden and terrace with barbecue. 50 minutes from Oslo 15 min from Hønefoss. 20 min from Hadeland Glassverk and Kistefos. Many nice hiking opportunities, and Averøya nature reserve with rare bird species right next to the lodge. NB Guests must clean themselves on departure. Not allowed to smoke both outside and inside.

Bilvei helt frem med parkering rett utenfor døren. Kjøkkenbenk som også kan brukes til å sove på.
